Well, I really did it yesterday. Told my boss I was re-re-retiring. There was a lot of discussion after that and I agreed to do a couple of short projects next year.

But I'm going to have more time to spend here now. Some of you may not think that is good news. :nuts:

Leaving on 'good terms' should all the more allow you to really relax and enjoy the life you have.

I hope he honestly has a very genuine appreciation for all you have to endure ~~ especially with the longer projects. I know you're amazing and essentially irreplaceable -- but I hope he finds someone else before next year.

Thanks, Steady, yes SHE does appreciate me and always ensures that she makes things as easy as possible for me. And she hired two people last month, which is why I felt like I could leave without causing a problem. But there are still two projects that I'll probably have to do next year.

Lady, I'm just catching up here, congratualtions on the re-retirement, but it sounds like you still have one foot in the door. Tell those yahoo bosses of yours to "take this job and shove it." I'm stingy, and don't feel like sharing you with anyone outside of TSP. It will be good to have you back so I can read all the perspectives you post.

Interesting to watch the market today. Looks like both the SPX (our C Fund) and EMW (our S Fund) dropped down to the 5 day average and then started bouncing back.

XL-entLady - when I turned on the computer early this morning - it was quite nice to see you already on! Morning is the fun time here! You may want to consider getting off earlier at night, tho, you are usually on when I have to give it up - course 2hours difference in time frames may have something to do with it!!!
