WorkFE's Account Talk

I'll let you walk point and blaze the trail - be my guest. I'm sticking with my strategy.

Futures up some this morning as we begin week 2.
Alcoa reports today but not until the market closes, we could be in for a slow day but the rest of the week could be interesting as S&P 500 companies earnings are expected to have jumped 213% in the fourth quarter of 2009. Of course thats compared to 2008 4th QTR, not much competition there.:D
Overseas trading higher overnight with the dollar falling somewhat.

Wonder what affect the ALCOA report will have at the open. Futures down some this evening. Like I said early slow today but interesting the rest of the week. Tomorrow could be the entry point some have been interested in.

I'm going to add to my AA collection tomorrow - it's eventually a $40 stock selling for $16 and change.

It was even better at $4. The penny a share don't bother me. If it is a penny a share 2 years from now, that will bother me.

Will week one be given back in one day? I noticed a few using this as a good entry point, maybe. If it is sustained, if not we rally back this afternoon. Either way those that are outside coming in they want you in the market.
Do you jump out? (to late today) If it stays or drops lower you except the loss. Either way those that are in going out they want you out of the market.
HMMM. Sure looks ugly.

Well that 1/3 take back of the first weeks gain was not to surprising. You got the feeling the market was looking for a reason to pull back some anyway.
Good move show-me.

Maybe we'll get some back today.

Nobody can see into the future as well as nnuut so I would have to agree, yesterday COB.

Since I am currently sitting in the CSI there is no reason for me to move to the G today IMO.
Results tomorrow will look alot like today. If we finish flat to up today I may make a small move to the G COB tomorrow (Before noon)
I'm not sure how deep I want to be in tuesday, could be another tuesday (Past) or more on the way. Either way what ever I move to the G is stuck there until Feb.
There are times I hate the 2 IFT's. Of course it has saved me from myself a few times:nuts:

The S funders had their day and so did the I funders, maybe the C funders can play tomorrow to make it a complete week. Or maybe the Garage folks will be laughing at us over the 3 day weekend:embarrest: Everything red as of 10pm:confused:

If it looks like tomorrow will be remotely green I will pull a few points out of each fund to put in the G.
Two things worse than having 2 IFT's:
1 remaining IFT or no remaining IFT's

Have a great friday everybody

You approved the bailout so "We want our money back" is directed at you Mr. President. Don't pretend to be one of the millions of hard working people in this country who had no say in this.
http://money.cnn.com/2010/01/14/news/economy/bailout_tax/index.htm?postversion=2010011414

By the way, the bailout tax is stupid. Do you really think they will reduce bonuses to do this? Just another charge to the bank user as the cost of doing business.:notrust:

Good morning everybody. Short week ahead and the start not looking so good.

WorkFE, Not sure what website you are looking but things are looking good right now. :D But that can change in a blink of an eye. Nobody blink.

Before the open and after the open look worlds apart. That's what I get for thinking:nuts:
Would be nice to get some of fridays losses back but I'm not blinking or counting chicks.
