WorkFE's Account Talk

Before the open and after the open look worlds apart. That's what I get for thinking:nuts:
Would be nice to get some of fridays losses back but I'm not blinking or counting chicks.

If trading flattens out during the lunch hour we may have a chance to stay on the positive side today and get back at least half of our losses from Friday. GL everyone.

Get your popcorn ready and strap in it's going to be a rocky start.

Yep, BofA is reporting a 5.2B loss. Not sure how the market will react to that news because that also has something to do with repaying the bailout money.

Stanley and Wells also report today, I believe they will be bigger market movers do to the non-existance of TARP

hopefully there will be some buy back this afternoon and offset the losses a little bit. Man the I fund is really tanking this morning. MEDIC!!!!!

This is gonna hurt, real bad.
Would not be surprised to see some buying this afternoon.
The good news is, I have my wifes 401K 100% in retirement preservation, if we have a continued selloff this week she's going swimming.

If we get a rebound bounce tomorrow all is forgiven but as of this moment it stings alittle. I often must remind myself the the Garage folks gotta eat also.

Keep an eye on Poolmans post, they are tracking something interesting, freightening and potentially a chance to acquire more shares with some patience and dilligence.

Check CH's blog often. The SS has been on it most of the time. Don't be afraid to pull the trigger. When it jumps between Buy and sell what it leaves behind are normally just crumbs.

Uptrend is like EF Hutton, when they post people read.

JTH actually post charts I understand and for that I am truly greatful.

Without the input of Tom, Frixx, Nasa, nnuutt, Show-me, Wind hunter, Fedgolfer, Corepuncher, Squalbear, nnuutt and a slew of other very thoughtful (STEADYGAIN) people on this MB it would not be worth the stop by on a dailey basis. Hopefully you all are not expecting comission checks from 09:D

Thanks for all you do

What was I thinking. With 2008 and early 2009 fresh on everybodies mind the money is accepting the losses and running for cover.
Of course with only 1 IFT I'm between a rock and a hard place.

Now I know why everyone has been moving to the G fund.:embarrest:
I'm a good kid, just alittle slow.

Better late than never but I can't remain exposed any longer. For the past 2 weeks I have shown everyone what not to do:nuts:
Time to work on getting back to 0%

A Last Request
In Washington an old priest lay dying in the hospital. For years he had
Faithfully served the people of the nation's capital. He motioned for his
Nurse to come near.

"Yes, Father?" said the nurse.

"I would really like to see Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi before I die",
Whispered the priest.

"I'll see what I can do, Father", replied the nurse.

The nurse sent the request to The House and Senate waited for a
Response.

Soon the word arrived; Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi would be delighted to
Visit the priest.

As they went to the hospital, Reid commented to Pelosi,

"I don't know why the old priest wants to see us, but it will certainly
Help our images and might even get me re-elected."

Pelosi agreed that it was a good thing.

When they arrived at the priest's room, the priest took Reid's hand in
His right hand and Pelosi's hand in his left.

There was silence and a look of serenity on the old priest's face.

Finally Nancy Pelosi spoke.

"Father, of all the people you could have chosen, why did you choose us to
Be with you as you near the end?"

The old priest slowly replied, "I have always tried to pattern my life
After Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ."

"Amen", said Reid.
"Amen", said Pelosi.

The old priest continued, "Jesus died between two lying thieves; I would
Like to do the same.

Well for those of us in neck deep today was a badly needed boost. At this point 1085 is something for me to hang my hat on. Won't mean anything if we don't hold it tomorrow but looking backward it is important just like looking forward a few steps, 1092 is.
I was stubborn last week and it very well could cost me but once I crossed that mental number of -2% I dug in and not budging until I get it back (Stupid):worried:
Anyway here's hoping we can take some baby steps forward this week and stop the bleeding.
GL everybody.

I suggest you make preparation with the plow. There is much lily pad on the tracker up front that will require moving for the mighty herd to pass through. I've been watching the NYAD lines and back in October'09 the NY AD MCO posted an extreme negative low of -114, with the SPX closing at about 1043 - the bears had their chances - the low has been placed for this particular cycle. However, just in case I'm wrong - the NY AD MCO will have to resist a low that is less than -114 for a diverdence to form. While the SPX does a dip below the 1040 level - not going to happen. The MCO bottom closed out last Friday at -93.47. It's time for the hoofhearted to regain the pasture.
