I don't think I can remember the top 5, top 10, even the top 50, being so SHORT. And the IFTs were definitely heavy on the exiting equities side (myself included....I went out to 50G/50F today).

Conversely, the bottom 50 are LONG.

Looks like the AT still is skeptical about a continuing rally, at least at the top. I guess I am counting myself in with the pessimism.

How much difference a week makes! Resistance at 1315 SPX seems real solid. I thought I made a good move in today, to catch that 1315....but NOOOOOO, that last half hour stole all my thunder! :(

What was with that spike anyway?! And where is NSurf9 with our lawsuit to let us put in our order by COB instead of 12 noon?!? :notrust:
(Not to mention getting more than our measley 2 IFTs per month!)

Oh well, I am in it now....should I look to bail tomorrow already??? :cool:
 
I jumped back in yesterday too thinking I'd get that lower price. Oh vell, better to get back in now and save the IFT for next month.

Well seeing how the Dow futures is up almost 200 points I think you made a great decision. I've been riding the S fund out for a while and today will be a nice relief if things stay the way the futures look...but my luck there will be a major reversal like yesterday, except in the wrong direction.

The rocket up seems to be holding. Those in I fund really are making out well today!! :D

If it continues to go up tomorrow, I may take the 2 day gain and exit stage right!! :cool:

Wow, didn't even realize the I fund was up that much...holy cow...

I'll still take my 2.5%+ in the S fund though. :)
 
fwiw, TSPwealth just went to ALL IN today (34/33/33 CSI). Markets are slightly up today as I write this at the open. Guess I will stay in for a while more....:)
 
I know it's real early now, but futures are pointing to a good opening on Friday. If this holds up, I will make the jump OUT of equities COB Friday. GO JOBS REPORT!! :nuts:

What exactly looks so good about them? They are slightly in the red currently.

I guess that's why you can't put much trust on the futures...When I posted, they were up over 1%. Now they are down 0.1%.

Still, I will look for an exit if the market is up by noon on Friday. :blink: (please pass the Hopium!!)

lol for the sake of my TZA shares I hope the market plummets tomorrow. I'm also in the G fund in my TSP. Sorry we hoping for the opposites of each other lol. ;)

OK, OK....how about if the market skyrockets Friday so those that are in can exit with cash in hand....and then Monday it plummets so those going short can exit with cash in hand?!? Then everyone is happy!! :D:D

Seriously, tho, we all know that on any given day half the AT is going in and half is exiting. And that's OK...cause you always have to be right TWICE in this business to make $$. Just depends on which side of the equation you are on. :cool: or :blink:
