I bet you're glad you got out now.And TODAY is a good example of my thoughts on staying in equities in 2013.....too bad I didn't take my own advice!!!
(And the VERY next day after exiting, no less!! )

I bet you're glad you got out now.If you really want in, you might be able to come back in at a lower entry price.
I'm thinking you're gonna rocket right back by me today... it's looking pretty ugly for me right now! :worried:
TSPwealth just went to 34/33/33 CSI from 50C/50S. Sayin it's time to get back into I.
I don't know....think I will wait thru this historically weak week, before jumping back in!
I hope it will be a while. A long while. see me at triple 6 would be nice.

Is that still 9 A.M. Pacific time?
I used the shorter time lag. It gives a little more confidence in what level I'm jumping out at.
Yikes!! Even WITH the shorter lag time, the market was able to totally turn around!
Although, it just went from a small gain to a small loss so I think you are OK, but still...
Sure would be nice if we could make our IFT up until the market closes. nsurf9, any progress?!?![]()
And for my 2 cents: Vanguard MSCI Europe ETF (VGK) owns the biggest 350 companies by market value.
tsp S ~ scha, tsp C ~ schx, tsp I ~ schf. i avoid corporate bonds (F), but for a G substitute you can go to schp TIPS equivalent and the treasury can't borrow against it without your written consent, yet.
there are a dozen other variations and all etfs trade realtime with no limits on frequency and no commissions at 0.07 to 0.50 expense ratios. 1 to 100 shares, it makes no difference. it requires no additional research of you stick to CSI proxies, trade away.
no, i don't recieve compensation for the endorsement, but i am looking to pick up some shares in bacon bowls on the private offering.
