We could possibly have another three white soldiers to join the ranks over the next three days - now that would be fun. Hedge funds are worried about missing a melt up - wouldn't that be perfect.
 
aww shoot. I googled 3 White Knights and since all the pointers were to Playstation 3, I figured I needed one. :)

do you ever wonder if charting takes on a life all it's own, where the macro factors of say a 5 year trend are lost?

TA can be a self-fulfilling prophesy for sure. People see the resistance and sell, etc.

That said, the Transports already broke thru their parallel channel so I won't be surprised if the S&P also ignores it.

But I admit, I am fighting the bull till the last minute since markets turn down just when you think it's safe, but the ducks are sure lining up on the bullish side for the intermediate term.

If I may, yes I see things as overbought within the May channel, but we are "on target" within the July channel. My key concern is the 1129 upper bollinger band, if we pierce it, then I'll look for a pullback. My preference would be for us to give the bands some time to expand, ride the channel up to 1140, get out, then jump back in at 1115. Nothing ever goes the way I expect, but hey it's still my preference. :D

PPT... looks like it exists.:mad::embarrest::sick::nuts: Well, it made me feel like I know when to make a positive IFT. Heck, there have been plenty of times when I made an IFT and the stocks went south.

The C and the I fund should stay in the positive for this month according to my "previous month being very positive" theory. Seems a following month, for the C and I fund, is supposed to be positive.

I'm going to have a good weekend. Hot here but sunny. Hope you all have a good one too.
