well it's been tough, and getting tougher. i've been on a self imposed quarantine (outside of the TSP Jail thread) for a few days nows, but it's getting juicy out there.

i'm in a holding pattern on my tsp allocation, expecting some big moves this month, i hope i can catch one of the lows and push more chips in.

every time i think i have something i want to say, i type it in, then spellcheck it, then re-read it for clarity, then i take quick 5 minute break. when i come back i highlight it all in blue and hit the delete button, ya'll don't know what you been missing.

surprising how good that feels, it's very liberating.

and i'm a conservating.

sorry the card stock only comes in orange and yellow, it's tight this fiscal year on a quarterly temproray budget chopped 25% by prudent AO's, you know the drill, but brown text is doable, until we run out of toner, apparently most of the funding is headed to health care or afganistan.

i think it goes without saying, the Warden and Officers can issue anything they want, including kudos, edicts, warnings, bans, and GOOTSPJF cards, although the cards are mainly for self-moderation, a reminder that we all could use a favor (and a laugh) from time to time.

i've just been doing the work on a volunteer basis, heck it needed doing and i was there, but i must say i've been way overpaid.

As with all gubmint work, the files are not mine, i'm only the steward, they are current, well-organized, secure, and available to co-workers and superiors as necessary, i'm just proud to serve.

apparently i misunderstood a lady, wouldn't be the first time, at least i didn't get slapped, this time, never was good at math anyway.

note: grandma is the only one with carte blanche on the photo thing, others may make a reasonable request, but no gaurantees.
 
I am still a little confused about the requirements for membership, and not sure of my motivation, but based on some of my past, current and likely future posts, I submit myself for your approval.

My first attempt at an avatar needs some work.

these cards don't really get you out of jail. but if you carry it with you, and everytime you feel like making a inappropriate comment take it out and consider what's really important, then it could help keep you out of jail in the first place.
 
well steadygain, mcduck, FAB1, and myself are the only ones lacking id pictures.

still waiting for steady to confirm acceptance of honorary membership and submit photo.

FAB1 is in but needs a picture, c'mon it doesn't have to be fancy, i don't think you want me to pick one out for you, look what happened to grandma and phil.

for mcduck i was going to use the jailbird one somebody posted in another thread, but as he is currently banned i thought it would only be fair to give him a chance to have some say in the matter, i think he had another duck one before things went all quacky here.

as for me, i got your six, i'll be last through the door, now move soldiers. actually i'm a little shy, i've never used an avatar myself before so i don't know what to pick.

any suggestions?

After careful consideration i respectfully decline to edit.

It is simply a placeholder. Phil is welcome to submit any jail card picture he identifies with. Official card will be issued to his specs, or he can renounce membership and it will go away. He and I don't see eye to eye on some issues but i don't think either one of us cares to shut the other up.

If you can't say what you feel in here, where can you say it?

Thank you for the friendly and informal warning, I'll take my chances.

That one (#71) did go too far. The whole jail card thing is fun, but using that picture for someone else's card was not cool. Now if it was your own card, I'd let it go. ;)

I'm sure I'll wake up on Monday and everyone's avatar will be of that pic. :)
