Just imagine if GOD called you to another planet altogether – occupied by an enormous population that had never remotely heard about Jesus and everything He represents. That they had no idea that everything they knew – and the distant star in the sky – and every form of LIFE was brought into being by Him and through Him and HE alone held all things together. Most importantly imagine having the obligation to make them realize all the difficulties they know are a reflection of their lack of understanding and not acknowledging the harmony that was meant to exist.
Now imagine GOD giving you a Power to make Him known and you had just performed a huge miracle of the magnitude Steady just did. There could probably never be a more triumphant feeling than that – never be a more overwhelming since of gratification and victory.
Steady was on top of the world – he felt like he could float in the air and to look over and see Blue all the more amplified those feelings. She was so beautiful – everything about her made God’s Glory shine and now more than ever. She beamed in delight and made Steady feel totally acknowledged and he needed to celebrate this huge miracle in some manner. Instead of jumping and throwing his arms in the air and yelling and screaming – he walked over to her – for she was totally a part of everything he did and he knew she was 100% a part of all he could know and enjoy. She opened her arms as he approached and he lifted her and held her as they lost themselves in the most wonderful embrace. Nothing could have been more perfect than that moment – but that moment was short-lived.
When Steady set Blue down crowds began surrounding them and fell on their knees worshiping them. People kept coming from all directions as the news of what happened spread everywhere.
Blue and Steady looked at each other in surprise and wondered what to make of this or how to handle it. Almost everyone on Mars had come out to them – except the dark skinned who were angry by the lack of business and the lack of work this caused. They had no desire for things to change and quickly banded together to defeat them.
Steady shouted out for all to hear and everyone grew silent to hear his words. ‘People of Mars I am no different from any of you – I am a man and only a man and Blue is a woman. We have no power but the Power of GOD that is in us. There is but One GOD and that GOD can be known to you as well as I know Him. You can have His Power inside of you and working in you to do even greater things that what you just witnessed in me. Do not worship ‘us’ for we are only His Servants – but worship the GOD who we serve and come to know His Power and let Him blaze in you.’
The crowds began to murmur to one another. The thought of having the Power of God – especially as they just acknowledged was overwhelming and their desire to be ‘God – like’ moved them to want this GOD totally in their lives. Blue could tell what stirred their hearts and stepped in to intervene.
