Steadygain's Account Talk

I'm glad the market fell a little...just before the big storm in 2010. If I had made money in 2009, which I didn't make much...I'd bail out now and be happy and see what falls out next year. Take your presents and run...be happy. Merry Christmas!

Well it looks like it should be a 'good week' !!

Markets and Economies are like living entities that go through cycles and always need periods of rest before substantial growth.

I'd say a lot of what has transpired lately more reflects the manipulation of corporations/politics - and when looking closely it's pretty hard to not see that.

My guess is what we're seeing now is way more a transition towards a 'Global Economy' as opposed to one controlled by the USA and England. If I'm right then what we're seeing now is essentially a 'new beginning'.

That means the Economy taking shape now is just sprouting roots and as those roots take hold the MARKETS will SOAR.

As much as we have risen since 3/09 -- I think it's nothing more than the seeds starting to take root and this could easily go on fairly slowly -- but when the BOOM takes place you'll want to be fully in.

GL to all

Sticky Pants are still FREE the remainder of 2009 at Birch's Place

Are you kidding me ???

Hell NO !! I don't mind making money hand over fist :D:D

I love days like this !!

Any other questions ??

Well kids, I'm off to lunch.

It's weird because I'm almost afraid to say anything for fear it will jinx the Markets...:embarrest:...but things sure FEEL GOOD !!!

OK -- I have to admit

I really do feel like a ballerina dancing in tights with the little dress that spins around :embarrest::cheesy: because going to G Fund is always kind of a Pansy thing to do.

Maybe it's the Christmas Season -- or maybe it's simply I'm getting out after some really 'GOOD DAYS' but I love it !!

Looks like today is going to end really good and if it gets any better I may even dance on my tippy toes.

Well that's the Market Update from the Boxing Ring !! :D

You are truly whack some days, Steady! Glad you're doing so well. You've had a good year.

Thanks my little scoots ka boots :)

I'm just trying to do my part in making the MEN feel more 'manly'

Making the women glad they're not like me :D

And spreading the warmth and happiness !!

Merry Christmas Steady! :)

Thank You !! my wonderful Brother

I sincerely appreciate the example you've displayed.

For now we bask in His Glory ... although it's barely a tiny portion

down the line we will fully bask in His Glory and totally be a part of it.

Merry Christmas to you too my friend !!!

Merry Christmas nutcracker.:D

I'm relaxing in the G-Fund myself until the end of the year.

Made some awesome gains this year.:p

Well it's kind of strange in that I seem to have 'lost' my competitive spirit and so it doen't seem the same.

My new year has already started and last year ended very well.

I am comfortable with no chance of loss and guaranteed gains and that's my 'risk level' - 'comfort level' - and 'reward' all put together.

It's nice not to be on edge watching the charts and wondering what to do. So I'll stay in G and down the line move to High Risk.

For now am essentially enjoying the vacation !!

Hope all is well with everyone !

I thought we were supposed to capitulate at the bottom of the market in the cycle of emotions. ;)

C/S/I - were Big Winners...

F - was a Winner

G - :o:embarrest::rolleyes:

Well good night all -- it was a great way to start the year.

So far no one on the AT -- has a 'minus' % :D

We are the 'winningest site' around

Lol
thanks for the reply. with a little luck and a lot of reading in here. I just might be able to retire some day

It's good to have ya on board.

In all sincereity it's probably better to look at the Trends than to read the posts.

The ones (like myself) who are 100% G Fund are playing a game of 'avoiding loss' -- which in itself is OK -- but would never prepare anyone for 'Retirement'.

But I ended the Year with a wonderful smile :):D:D

Now of course I'm starting it wishing I was fully in C/S/I -- so in hindsight you can never go wrong.

FACTS: 3/09 was the end of a very 'severe Market downfall'

Despite: Continued Economic turmoil and huge losses in general the Mighty Banks --- on which everything depends -- recovered enough to pay the Govt back and had like Billions saved up for Exec bonuses to boot. ;)

Please know that many that were considered the 'brightest and sharpest' continued to announce huge Doom and Gloom projections and essentially disappeared....since 3/09.

TODAY -- completely goes in line with the overall Market Trend. We are on our way to a Recovery and LONG TERM projections are bound to be Positive !!

It's hard for 'Bears' like us to change -- but in the Long Run (at least over the next few years) we're better off Chasing the Bull.

Later my friend and thanks for the visit

'Chasing the Bull' is very succinct.

That's what I'm going to do all year.

I predict this year will have:

Some thinking the Markets will do well and some thinking it won't.

Some smelling the flowers while others are holding their nose.

Political concerns will likely flare up here and there.

News of hardships and uncertainties are bound to occur.

Opinions on a wide variety of subjects are bound to vary.

That's what will make 2010 stand out from the rest.

Good Night to All

Thanks man !!

I had my first ballroom dancing class last night and drank a huge glass of coffee with pepermint mocha (got for Christmas) shortly beforehand.

Anyway -- earlier in the day had some issues that weighed fairly heavy and with work was tired and needing a charge. Slept hard for a couple of hours and then 'Super Alert' from like 1 or 2 on....'

So todays posts are way more a reflection of my brain being numb and not having a clue what to say. But sometimes I take a chance and hope someone out there may be entertained.

Anyway --much appreciated
