"If I stay there will be trouble

and if I leave it will be double.

So come on and let me know

should I stay or should I go now"

ANSWER: Me

Almost any song with a fairly decent beat - that's filtered through my brain is bound to surface and when it does I just let it go and sing with it.

The song that dominated most of my thoughts lately is one I heard years ago. A woman sings it ... and it's like the most beautiful song I ever heard. I imagined her singing that to me and knew there is no way I would ever leave without packing her things first.

Just call me Angel in the morning - Angel
Just pack my things before you leave me Baby

Baaaayaaayaa beeeeeee

Baby is the most perfect name I've ever been called and only one person is qualified to call me that.

Bonnie Tyler wrote this one:

Therell be no strings to bind your hands
Not if my love can find your heart
And theres no need to take a stand
For it was I who choose to start
I see no need to take me home
Im old enough to face the dawn

Just call me angel of the morning, angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me
Oh my baby
Just call me angel of the morning, angel
Then slowly turn away from me

Maybe the sunlight will be dim
But it wont matter anyhow
If mornings echoes say weve sinned
Then it was what I wanted now
And if were victims of the night
I wont be blinded by the light

Oh my baby
Just call me angel of the morning, angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby
Just call me angel of the morning
Then slowly turn away from me

Baby baby baby

Just call me angel of the morning, angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me
Oh my baby
Just call me angel of the morning, angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me, baby
Just call me angel of the morning, angel
Just touch my cheek before you leave me
Oh my baby
Just call me angel of the morning, angel

Anyway it's been so many years since I heard this song that I got the lyrics wrong. But the lady's voice was so incredibly filled with love - and wanting it to never end - that it stuck with me

Have a great weekend everyone !!!

Fortunately - I have money to burn and the AT is accurate.

I made a change when I had 13% - and despite the downside am still over that amount (as of this morning)

My primary GOAL was to end the year with at least the starting amount at the close of 2007 (or beginning of 2008). So despite what the AT reflects - MANY OF YOU are still way better off than me.

I think a lot of you have genuine grounds to fear and I appreciate (and understand) the comfort of safety. If I did not have the 'cushion' presently at hand - the Herd Mentality - would have me crapping my pants and running to G Fund 100% :embarrest::sick:

But I am comfortable playing my own game and for now I still see room for the Upside to win out over the Downside.

I do think a 'Storm' is brewing - and the downfall will far exceed a 10% correction. That's why I only put 40% in to begin with; but an Upswing (even if it only lasts a week or so) is worth the risk.

GL to all

I could have danced all night

..............I could have danced all night

.......................iI could have

DANCED..........DANCED........DANCED

ALLLLLL NIGHT

Monday set a 'bad tone' - but went too far and too fast

Many interpreted this as the Markets ran out of steam....

Tues - a substantial bonce

Fires were ignited and the steam trying pick up

Today

Starts off with what appeared to be a huge downfall - but obviously the short term sellers are outnumbered by the buyers..:)

I think the Markets are trying their best to get another 'high peak' and pushing the steam with more power.

Then I expect this to fizzle out and a huge correction to follow.

Good (or Bad) - will probably go 100% G tomorrow

For what its worth, I'm feeling same - move 100% G tomorrow.

Thanks for the visit !

I'll go back to 100% G today - and if you want to say I made a 'short play' in 8/09 then that's pretty accurate.

The fact is the Markets kept climbing at this incredible rate and it's either jump on to catch the last little fling upwards - or jump on to knock the #()$)*_#@ back down - and either way I was ready.

I still think the overall momentum UPWARD has gone too fast and too far to survive. It's possible that the Markets will continue moving UPWARD and taking some neccessary pauses along the way. This is doubtful considering the general economic circumstances. The only other option I see is a substantial correction - leveling out - and then starting back up.

All of us are 'trapped' in TIME - so when we have a few very good months it's very convincing 'the worst is over' - or the good times will continue. You have to look at the overall picture and try to guage things from that perspective.

Anyway - will go 100% G @ COB today - because somewhere on the Lilly Pad there is something sweet and soft and precious :) something that will make me wonder why I waited so long and I'll just float away and keep on floating.

In my spare time I'll work on redesigning all motor vehicles - so women will be able to pee in the tank as easily as men. I think the easiest thing is simply include an attachment that can be snapped on. The fact is if everyone does it as freely and openly - and as naturally as 'it should be' then women should be as comfortable as men.

Ahhh Steady, go back and read Silverbirds response to Birchie. Wind and solar are the way to go, but we've got to get better and faster at upgrading the grid and storage via batteries at the same time (which then entails better recycling solutions for finite lithium and/or lead resources of course).;)

Steady,

The girls just don't get it - way too serious from their conservative perspective. Keep working on your idea. Silverbird mentioned the benefits of methane - like filling the car trunk full of sweet smelling superlative bull manure. I understand that sheep are also prolific at producing manure.

Steady,

Just the opposite Birch :toung: and so you have to make sure when you're posting something openly available to women that you do your homework.

It's not so much that they are way too serious - from the conservative perspective - it's far more that DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS be more thoroughly brought forth to begin with.

So let's add a few details in the presentation - to keep the women satisfied and provide the 'satisfaction they need to be assured that everything has already been well planned'.

Something like this:
Recent evidence has shown the molecular structure in 'human urine' is 850 times more effective as a source of energy than gasoline.

Now you have to anticiapate how a woman will think: So you quickly include that 'urine from numerous other animals were found to be ineffective' and this Scientific Breakthrough with its ongoing 5 year Data and Research concludes 'Human Urine' is the best choice.

Now this is where we can get to Silverbird's obvious 'Dud observation' in relation to the amount of urine typically produced.

So continuing with the article in GREEN: It has been determined that the 'Fuel Tanks' can be reduced by 15,000% and that just a few cups of 'Fresh Urine' will take the average full sized sedan 350 miles.

See - now that's how we would have to present this because as the DETAILS sunk in then their openess and 'practicality' would over ride the conservative (awkwardness) of making the change. ;)

No...it's not a gender thing, I work with the high-tech industry and if I had a dollar for every good idea or possible chemical or biological reaction that could possibily be used to improve products or quality of life, I'd be retired. :toung: It's making the idea work that matters to me; I don't look at companies until they set up a production line and can reproduce good results.

Long loose skirts would become the norm once more, for practical public reasons, ie lack of sufficient public facilities, as they are in the 3d world for similar practical reasons (among others). Sorry, the video-cam investor guys would be disappointed on side-benefits due to unanticipated consequences.;)

No...it's not a gender thing

Of course it's not - and from your (and my) perspective it never has been. We are dealing simply with 'Energy' - 'Science' and it doesn't take much to pin point the details of complications... and numerous other factors that many such as yourself would almost immediately weigh in.

Yet it is very much a Gender Thing - and that is something our Global Civilization has largely overlooked from day one to the present. If more women were given the chance to bring their insights to the forefront things would be far better off - because they have a knack for details; they are incredibly smart; and they maintain a perspective that 'men' don't have.

It's also a Gender Perspective - in that it's impossible to avoid (as is Race and Nationality) and a bunch of other essentially meaningless aspects. Here I simply would say that millions of people would think because it comes from 'a woman, a black, an Asian....' that somehow it doesn't hold weight. It's crazy but craziness is everywhere.

Regarding this particular subject - you've more than proven your worth. But the question I would ask is: 'Are you prepared to change a dishwasher that is way outdated when:

The flooring has multiple layers that need to come up?
When the pipes are stuck in 'one awkward place'?
When you find that only a 'special kit' will do?

and numerous other 'unexpected challenges' occur while repairing all 'indoor problems' because some how you fell into the trap of having to deal with all indoor problems. ? ;)

Thanks for the visit !

If there was ever - even the slightest degree of seriousness associated with this 'Wonderfully Manly Idea'...

loose shirts would never be needed. No doubt OSHA and the General Health Department would never have everyone dispenceing our bodily fluids all over the place.

No doubt any hint of awkwardness would be elimated in numerous ways from the very onset. Direct channels from inside the car would be almost guaranteed ....

But once again this merely reflects how easy it is for a woman's practicality ... and the simpliest reflection ... can easily dwarft the very best of ideas (even if they are sick, repulsive or offensive) :D

Stand by your man ......
give him to arms to lean on
and something warm to come to
when nights are cold and lonely

Stand ...byyyyy.....yourrrrr .....mannnn

Well good night everyone.

I usually never draw any attention to this kind of thing but this place is 'different' - so today was my birthday and it was good.

No one here (at work) knows about that and I'll keep it that way.

Anyway it's been a good week - a very good week. Having Sarah home has been wonderful. Emily gets home tonight and she had a really good summer working in Harlan, KY. My girls are so close it's just unbelieveable. I don't know of any siblings that have a closer relationship and I sincerely mean that. Carrie was holding Sarah last night and crying at the thought of her going back to Korea for another year. Emily and Carrie have the closest bonds of anyone I know and Sarah's disappearance made them all the closer. But Sarah is so much stronger after her year in Korea and the bonds between all of them are better than ever.

Well anyway - I took a chance with the August Play and ended the day as good as I could hope.

Love ya all - have a great night
