Howdy X-neighbor (ag'in ya) ! While traveling south down the
NJ Parkway from the Asbury Park area (grew up in) you'll notice
where the trees turn from Oak to Pine. It's the Ocean County area
(high school) and thats the location I always believed was the true
border between North and South. One other thing. North of that
border you'll find NY Stations and Giants Fans, South into Ocean
County you see Philly TV and Eagles Fans. Before moving to Camden
County, I thought this was Cow and Tomato Country as I never
truly understood why (coming from up north) everyone called N.J.
the Garden State. Heck, working in Salem County, now I know how
to chew tobaccy and tip cows. (LoL). Thanks for the memories !

Got it. I never was a true resident as I was one of them "Airmen from McGuire". Ft Dix, which is a small part of Mcguire, has lots of Pine trees to play around in. I lived at Lakehurst NAS for several months before moving to Eastampton so I am familiar with the Ocean county area. Driving from McGuire to Lakehurst every day I saw lot's of evidence about the Garden State. Thank You for the memories.

The (I) Fund closed down -0.07%. Looks like the Fund Managers
simply split the difference between the Index and EFT.

With no Fair Value to speak of and the EAFE being down (currently) at
-.86%, the Empire figures due out soon may be the last gimmer of hope

The EFA closed up +1.31% and the EAFE closed down -0.93%.
The (I) Fund closed down +0.10%. The end of the day found all
of the TSP Funds in positive territory. The Fund Managers keep
within its Ping-Pong swings from one side of the O/D Tracker to
the other. Again, it looks as if they simply split the difference
between the Index and EFT, kinda - Sorta !

I just wanted to acknowledge the fact that over the last three and a half
weeks (3.5) the Fund Managers have not given the O/D Tracker or the
(I) Funders any opportunity (all but one) to take advantage of a strong
"Deficit" that's followed by an up day. I wish they'd choose a side and
stick with it, but at least the volitility has subsided. This fact adds to the
strength of any move (on either side) into double digits.

The EAFE closed up +0.84% and the EFA closed down -0.34%.
The (I) Fund closed down up -0.01%. As everyone can see, the
Overpayment and Deficit swings aren't much help when kept in
the tight range that they've been in. Other than to say, we can
count on that range until the swings return. The Fund Managers
are doing an outstanding job keeping the YTD %'s close. So the
added advantage of the O/D Tracker has deminished somewhat.
Should double digits reappear, we'll be ready for them.

Its a lovely Fourty-five degree day. Spring is here

Holy Cow, 45 degree Spring's give me Goose Bumps just thinking about it.
But in Alaska, your blood is telling your body; "Hey, who turned on the Heat"
We hit 77 degrees here in New Jersey and I can't help but panic over the fact
that the dreaded Air Conditioner will soon hit the Budget. :worried:

On a positive note: The Pool will be opening soon and I just love
guests coming over to cool off. (Dirty old man reference)
