Squalebear's Account Talk

Let your wife see how much your brother loves you. I'll check the PMs tomorrow when I get to work. Trust me SB, we'll make sure you get the help you need.

I've always known that you are one of the most loving and caring
individuals, I've ever been blessed to know. I will PM you, but only
to thank you for the kindest offer I've ever received. You touched
my soul ! There's not much more I can say about ! God Bless ! :embarrest:

I'm having a difficult time right now and won't be able to cheer this place
up very well. With that said, I'm gonna Wish Everyone the Best of Luck
and I'll try to catch up with everyone abit later. Good Luck ! :(

John, a.k.a GUCHI,

There are no dumb questions ! Thanks for saying I'm good people, I try
every day to be just that. As far as some being just a litle clickish, I see
it more as; like-personalities, shared interests and confidence gained over
time, which draw us to one another here at TSPTalk. I've found that those
who seek something other then the common goal of helping each other,
never last very long here. We've seen people try to promote other sites,
sell financial products and even Report our TSP dismay over limits. They
come and they go (rather quickly). You've been here since 2006, the only
way you accomplished that was by contributing. It is for this reason that
I should be thanking you.

I will address your offer and request for info on my next post.
Thanks again GUCHI, I've always said that the members of this
website are unique. You as well as others have shown its true.

In other words, even when I may feel my questions are dumb or awkward - YOU ALWAYS RESPOND IN A POSITIVE MANNER AND MAKE ME FEEL WARM, ACCEPTED, AND GRACIOUSLY EXTEND YOURSELF.

i can tell you are good people. u don't know me from adam, yet u take the time to respond. some members to me seem a little clickish !! but thats fine thats their thing.

If some want to act like they are content with their own little click there is nothing I can do but accept it - but you stand out as being genuine and open to everyone. That's a good quality to have.

i would like to give u some leave, and i'm sure others feel the same way. please post the info. so we can get it set up to transfer leave to your account. wishing u the best !!

John, I'm heading to HR in a few minutes to give him my 2 weeks. He and I go back quite a ways and this is obviously somewhat humbling even to accept this from me. I understand his feelings of awkwardness - for we are human - but I know he would sincerely appreciate whatever you can offer.

If anyone wants to donate some leave - feel free to PM me and I'll send you the needed information.

Squalebear, I know this is somewhat overwhelming for you and I understand that. Please know that few events can happen in our life that go beyond being able to do something wonderful for a wonderful person. I already feel deeply honored and on top of the world having the information I need to make this happen - just imagine how much more wonderful I'll feel when HR tells me everything has gone through and you now have 2 more weeks of AL.

May you get the help you need (surgery included) and heal completely. In my experience (as a provider) I know we have cushions to replace the ruptured ones and in the end you can return to life without the need for pain meds or NSAIDs.

Heading to HR right after 2 more patients - take care my friend,

Steady

Sorry Squalebear - I thought you were sleeping - but am thrilled to see you responed. Now my response looks kind of dumb but will send it anyway.

I read an article not that long ago about back problems - sometimes no matter what you try there is only minimal relief - and that includes surgery and meds. The only thing that really works is exercise designed to strengthen the back muscles that support the skeletal frame. The exercises are not easy and the recommendation is to work hard enough to bring tears - no pain no gain. After about six months the muscles will be strong enough to support the spine and help relieve distress, it all part of proper alignment. If you have a visible herniation on CAT SCAN then a surgical transplant may be efficacious. I would suggest trying the exercise regimen and see if there is improvement before surgery. Back problems can be so debilitating - so join a local gym and get to work and don't worry about the tear provoking pain - you won't be sorry.

To those members who have opened their hearts by offering their hard
earned benefit to me, I can only say thank you. The man upstairs has
once again shown that his grace is within each and every one of us.

I think the Offers of Generacity and Requests for Information can fall
within the Private Catagories of our Lives. Because it can, I think it
might be best to chat via Private Messages (PM's) as this is an open
forum to the world and very much off topic. It would also give way for
the opportunity to speak freely concerning personal experiences you
may have had. So with that, I invite anyone wishing to talk about the
topic of Leave Donation and alike to PM me at anytime they wish. This
way, Squalebear's Thread can stay focused on the Market and helping
others make "A Few Penny's More". {Clint Eastwood Spaghetti Western Ref} ;)

Thanks Birch, I have Traction and PT scheduled to begin in two weeks.
I'm in no hurry to go under the knife. So every word you wrote holds true
to my belief and I'll do what ever it takes to avoid it. The MRI said its
more likely then not, but I gotta give the alternative a chance.

Thank Again ;)

You could add few more verbs along with ackwardness. I can't but help
feel that my inability to handle my past (some of you know of this) has
put me in a position in which I'm ashamed of. :(:embarrest:

But enough of the negativity ! NO ONE CAN EVER SAY THAT THIS WEBSITE
AND ITS MEMBERS AREN'T THE MOST UNIQUE, HELPFUL AND CARING
INDIVIDUALS ON THE PLANET. THE POSTS YOU'VE READ ARE REAL.
REAL LIFE PEOPLE LOOKING TO HELP SOMEONE NOT CAPABLE OF
EVER ASKING HELP FROM ANYONE. THEY SAY GOOD THINGS HAPPEN
TO GOOD PEOPLE, I'M BLESSED TO FINALLY SEE ITS TRUE. SEEING
SO MUCH OF THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE IN A PRISON CAN MAKE ONE
LOSE HOPE FOR HUMANITY. THANK YOU STEADY FOR RESTORING WHAT
TRULY IS IMPORTANT,,,,,, HOPE ! NOT JUST MINE, BUT EVERYONES.:)

Hang in there Squalbear I feel this thing will work out for you but will take time. We are behind you, so don't lose hope. See there it's nice to have friends even if you've never met.

Ditto!

I've had a few of those heart burn incidences myself. Not fun. It's not so much the pain, but you're thinking - is this the big one or should I go back to bed? :)

At least heart burn goes away. But back problems, ugh! I feel for you bear.

Norm, I long for the day that could bring us together face to face for
one of those special Bar-B-Q I've read so often about. Maybe the future
will allow that to become a reality for all of us. That would be totaly cool.

Thanks Tom, I will not let this bring me down. Its a battle I must face.
But it certainly helps to know that I'm not doing it alone. I shared this
day with my wife and she couldn't have been more greatful that I've
got others, watching my back (pun intended). ;)

Monday - JANUARY 05, 2009

For the first day of the first full week of 2009, the Fund
Managers opted to allow the (I) Fund to outperform the
EFA and add to the overpayment. Being in the elevated
"Red" area of the tracker calls for a payback in the near
future. This means underperforming against the EFA. I
can only hope it comes during a massive rally. If they
decide to do this on a down day, it only makes a bad day
that much worse. This is not the best time to enter into
the (I) Fund for that reason. the closer we get to the
"Black" area of the O/D Tracker, a better entry point
can be found. Even in the "Green" area is better then
the Blue & Red at this stage. :worried:
