Seat 19A

Yea, I voted for Ron Paul, I think he is smart too.

The Chaplin's article is a one sided opinion.

Here is my one sided opinion. Imagine that. lol

You will never see this ideological perfect harmony because man is always flawed. Mankind what what other men worked for. The native American did it. White men did it. Countries, religions, clubs, organizations, sports teams all want the prize. Some people what other peoples riches and do not work or get lucky in making them. So the answer is to TAKE IT by force or thru legislation.

Man has different country's because we are different or diverse. We came to this country to get away from England's persecution. So have others from their countries persecutions.

We are not the same and the only way to have this perfect harmony is to have the State own the whole world and FORCE you to be harmonious. One religion, one currency, no competition, because competition breed difference.

Funny how the Chaplin references harmony and bringing down the Berlin wall in the same article. Communist Soviet Union was as close as your going to get to this so called harmony and they could not afford it and gave the Eastern Block countries back.

Even with the ideological harmony someone will be on the top tier and the bottom tier folk will despise them for being at the top. The top will keep their position at all cost because the top is much more comfortable.

So in this perfect world I call dibs on the top tier and the rest can lick my boots in harmony.;)

It is very noble, spiritual, and naive to think we can have perfect harmony but reality sucks, it has to for some. That is the nature of life. Who wants to be the gazelle when you can aspire to be the lion.

Social harmony works in the lower life forms like Honey Bee's, but do you understand why it works?

No emotion in decision making.

Every bee has a very spicific job from the Queen that lays eggs, to the Drone that do nothing but fly out every day to find a queen to mate with. The workers are divide into different "casts" depending on age and need.

There are house bee's that do dozens of different tasks from creating Royal Jelly to feed to the larva. To bee's that make wax, clean the cells for egg laying. Mortuary bee's, guard bee's, mortuary bee's, water bee's, ventalating bee's, nectar bee's, pollen bee's, propolis bee's, etc.

Here is the ugly side of this perfect harmony.

You are expected to work yourself to death. Last stage in a bee's life is as a field bee. You die from wearing your wings off or you are eaten by a higher life form.

You are expected to leave the colony when sick and die. You can not infect the rest of your brothers and sisters.

If you are weak or there are not enough resources to feed you, you are murdered. Removed from the womb and discarded out the entrance of the colony.

In the fall, Drones are murdered too. They will be dragged out of the colony as they are not productive.

Queens are not immune. If they become weak the colony will produce more queen cells without her consent. Forcing here to swarm away with other attendants or be killed by the newly emerged queen.

Even if that does not happen Queen's are murdered by "balling" if the colony is not satisfied with her egg production.

Perfect harmony is not that perfect and will never be. It is just a idea in the minds of flawed men.

As difficult as it may be for me, I'll see if I can understand the difference. Not "can to". Here's a little grammar hint: try to say it before you write it.
I'm not really sure what "So not to use your only source of information, Wiki" means. Is it a sentence fragment? Try to be clear. It helps. :)

So not to use your only source of information, Wiki.
And as difficult as it may be for you, see if you can to understand the difference..

There are plenty, not is plenty. Dearborn, Michigan.
My answer is; Get over it...There is plenty of Muslims in this Country as well (Dearborn Michigan is a bee's nest of them) and we Christians are not out to wipe them out.
Therein, not There in.

What a way to go though....:D

Only you would see that. lol Balling is a act by the worker bee's, females, in which they ball up on the queen and vibrate to increase the core temp. in order to kill the queen by overheating her.

Embassy in Sana'a is shut down. Oh well.

This only illustrates how vulnerable we are. In the end, it was still just a group of people living in caves in Afghanistan who carried this out, criminals. It wasn't a national government.

We need allies in the war on terror, not recrimminations. We need more help from the established islamic states to actually fight the war against Al-Qaeda. Punish your enemies, not your friends.

Re: Seat

I'm proud of you. This time you didn't completely steal the quotation from someone else and pass it off as your own, and you spelled the words correctly. :)

Keep up the good work.

OK, New Year's resolution, everybody. :) We WILL stay on topic based on title of each thread. When the thread topic gets worn out or no new developments on the thread topic-time to go play on a different thread. ;)

1. ‘Passenger Behavior’ Key to Catching Airline Terrorists
by Tzvi Ben Gedalyahu

While the United States and other countries beef up airport searches for terrorists, an Israeli expert advises that eying passenger behavior is critical for preventing attacks.

Rafi Sela, a security consultant at Ben Gurion International Airport, explained to the Canadian news agency Canwest, "If you have a suicide bomber or somebody who wants to make an impact, he doesn't have to bring down a plane. He can just explode in the middle of this huge crowd that is waiting for security."

Sela's advice was given shortly after the United States announced stricter inspections following last month’s failed bombing of an Amsterdam-Detroit flight. Passengers overcame the terrorist, who had put together an explosive device on board. Following the incident, Amsterdam officials hastily installed expensive scanning equipment.

Airlines and other companies around the world have frequently studied Israel’s airport and airline security to learn how to combat terrorists. The United States often has been charged by minority groups with “profiling,” but Sela criticized security procedures that check everyone equally, regardless of whether he is a potential threat or a tourist who is among the majority of harmless travelers.

"You have to actually look for the things that are dangerous, and not just scan everybody," he advises. “This calls for a total change in approach to the transportation security issue."

Sela said that direct eye contact by security officials can help them spot abnormal behavior. Using such procedures probably would have stopped last month’s bomb maker if he had tried to board the plane in Israel - although no system is failsafe, Sela added.

He also noted that the security warnings that the U.S. State Department received on the terrorist would have red-flagged him at Ben Gurion Airport.

The United States has announced it is increasing body scans and physical inspections for all passengers from 14 countries that are considered prone to terror. They are Cuba, Iran, Sudan, Syria, Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia and Yemen.

The Transportation Security Administration said that the "majority” of all other passengers, including American citizens, will undergo stricter security searches.

A failed airport security test ended up with a Slovak man unwittingly carrying hidden explosives in his luggage on a flight to Dublin, Slovak officials admitted Wednesday — a mistake that enraged Irish authorities and shocked aviation experts worldwide. After being informed by the Slovaks, Irish authorities shut down a major Dublin intersection Tuesday and evacuated people from several apartment buildings as Irish Army experts examined the explosive.

Obama Declares America ‘At War’ with Al Qaeda, Offers New Security Initiatives Thursday, January 07, 2010 By Fred Lucas, Staff Writer

How will he incorporate New Security into the general life of the normal, doing daily chores, American citizen? There doesn't seem to be any concern for swimming the Rio Grande, only flying the skies?:notrust:
