lol, nice posts... I've stuck with (i) all week too, and I am happy thus far. I'm going to stick out Friday though and see where that takes me. Good luck to you next week.

At least I'm in (G). But still... I want to get that chance to be in equities to make up the remainder of losses from May/early June.

I really should not be into trying to catch these small bounces here and there. I need to be looking for something more sustained. Hopefully that will come next week... new quarter.

God Bless:)

I think I'm going to go ahead and jump in. As of now, US futures are looking healthy and overseas markets are green across the board. It'll be a gamble on what Uncle Ben says, but either way Friday might be a good bet-

If Uncle Ben blows it, then the markets may bounce back tomorrow.

If Uncle Ben doesn't blow it, then the markets may follow through tomorrow.

Makes sense to me.:D

Effective Friday:

60 C

40 S

God Bless:)

Congrats to everyone who picked up that nice chunk of change today!

Thanks Rod. I only picked up 50% of the gains by IFT the day before that betting something got to happen when the Fed talks and it did. But I am happy. As to Wizard of Oz, he really hit the bull eye with perfect timing . He is leading everybody again in this month. Congrats, Wizard.

Hang in there. The I Fund should be up tomorrow. I'm right more than 70% of the time using my tracking system. I was safely tucked in the F Fund the last couple of days. We should reap some benefits tomorrow.

Yeah, I've been keeping a separate tracker as if I was still 100 (I).

As of today, I would have finally been in positive territory @ +.86%.

I realize it all works itself out eventually, but it was rather painful at the time!:o

Just gotta remember... no pain, no gain.;)

Remind me that next week when we begin to sell-off, OK???:p

:D

I'm definetly a happy camper to have stayed with (I) this week, and I think I'm going to hold it over into next week. Are you still (s) and (c)?

Yep, I'm 60C and 40S effective today. Who knows what today will bring. Perhaps a little selling. I plan on keeping that allocation for awhile, especially since I'll be going on vacation for about a month beginning this weekend.

Don't want to miss out on any rallies while I'm gone. Hopefully the ups will outweigh the downs and I will come out ahead.

We'll see.:)

Yep, and hopefully we all learn from our experience. It might be a good thing you're not on the I Fund today with that hefty FV looming above your head. Planning to ride it out though, all through next week. :D Good luck.

I'm an official daywalker now!!!

Nice to be off the night shift.

Look out Mr. Market... I can play YOU now.;)

lol... good for you daywalker, and thank god for holiday delays. I put in my transfer to G on Sunday, but it didn't go through until after Monday's close. It got me a few more bucks out of I. I'll sit on G for the free money then move back to I or S depending on what news comes along. It's been a sweet past two weeks for me.

Leave it to a bunch of Commies to wreck the markets for a week. it's a good time to be a "G". Hopefully things will be better on Monday.

Yep!

I'll be hitting the road on Saturday and will be away for about 3 weeks, with intermintent internet access.

Still trying to decide how I want to allocate things.

Good luck with I; it has certainly done me good over the last 2 weeks. I made a switch to S for Monday though. I think the US markets typically overreact to bad news and then have to correct. I expect that is what will happen on Monday at least.

I hope your vacation is going well, Rod. I thought I'd post just to keep your thread up on the board. Moving to the S fund (from the I) proved to be a wash as the S is .35% and the I is up .56% (not enough difference for me to be concerned as I think the S will still outpreform the I for the week), but the C is up .57% for the week and has the most potential upside and downside for the week. I'll hedge my bets with regards to the US market though and contiue with the S for the remainder of the week I expect. This will mark the first consecutive two-week period in some time that I've maintained a consistant allocation in one fund (last week being I and this week S).

I'm enjoying the time with my Wife. Thanx.:)

I finally got some internet connection at the hotel. I was having problems with the wireless, then went to dial-up. The wireless is good to go now.

I was seriously considering pulling out of (I) yesterday. But, my timing seems to be off here lately with constantly being on the road since last Aug. It's looking like I'll be paying for that today. I don't believe I will beat or even match my return last year of nearly 8%. I'll probably be lucky to beat the (G)!:D

I just need to find my groove again.

Perhaps I should just hang out in (G) until I get a handle on things. But what fun is there in that!;)

Since I'm practically bringing up the rear on the tracker, I'm hanging onto, "The first shall be last, and the last shall be first"!:cheesy:

God Bless

Not liking this... last time I yanked the anchor too soon. So, might as well "bear" this temporary pain, IF it is indeed temporary. I just don't want to ride down a correction like I did in May, if that's what's happening. Japan is going to have a hissy for the 13th, though. I'll be watching closely.

I really hate to be bothered with the market while on vacation, but I got myself into (I).

My problem is that I've been early with my moves... when will I ever learn...

C'mon 4th Q... I seem to do better then.
