Maybe a lopsided w pattern forming as of today. Gap up or gap down is the question. I’m guessing a bounce tomorrow but not sure if it will have legs or only be a short play. Things have a ways to go before I will commit.

Wow....now we broke below 2700 for some of the lows we hit during the May/June time frame. Looking at the SnP, 10% drop from highs would be around 2634 which was last touched on around May 3rd. Anyone's pick if this is it (retesting a previously filled gap) or if we head to that 10% correction mark....or even enter a full fledged bear market.

As before, I'm not rushing to get in on this one...buying opportunities are great but there could easily be more bleeding before this is done.

Just something to ponder...2581.00 is the low for the S&P in 2018, set on 8 Feb. Could we be testing that low???:nuts:

First IFT for November submitted. 50% C Fund, 50% S Fund, effective COB 11/7/18:nuts:

Going with a 50-50 split as S Fund outperforms C Fund only 50% of the time in November. So far S Fund is outperforming, but it's still early...

With the mid-term elections now in the rear view mirror and no blue wave or red wave to speak of,
perhaps it is now time for a green wave $$$ :arms:

So the first day of this trade did not work out as planned, losing -0.35%. I guess I shouldn't be surprised after the big gain in the market on Wednesday. Everything looked great when I submitted my IFT, I think the market was up about 0.60% at that time, but then after the noon deadline, the market shot up more than anyone expected and I ended up buying high. But I guess that's the breaks when you only get 2 IFT's per month and they have to be submitted by noon...

Hopefully day two will be better.

So I reduced exposure today by moving the 50% I had in the S Fund into the G Fund, effect COB 11/29/18. No confidence in the meeting this weekend between the President and Xi, so I may completely exit tomorrow.
