ravensfan's Account Talk

Well the market is mired in a second leg down this morning. Lot's of movement on the Autotracker, some to safety and some to equities. Just wondering if the ones moving into the market aren't trying to catch a falling knife. Time will tell...

As for me, another day on the lily pad is in order. Pass the popcorn!

Time to get off the lily pad and get back in the game. First IFT submitted for October. 50% G Fund, 15% C Fund and 35% S Fund. Just in case we haven't hit the bottom yet, I'm keeping some powder dry for later in the month.

Good luck everyone!!!:D

I think it was Warren Buffet that said "When you are about to cry, BUY. When you are happy as hell, SELL". Or maybe it was Jimmy Buffet. If so, I'll be over at the Tiki Bar, drowning my sorrows in a Margarita...

Here is the Best Fund/Worst Fund for COB 15 Oct 18.

Have a great evening!!!

Okay, so Monday did not follow the script and I only got a gain of 0.01%. But today....woo hoo!!!!
Hoping this is the start of a nice leg up.

Good luck everyone!!!

Thinking about an exit strategy after a nice gain today. My 10 day simple moving average for the C fund is 2831.94 and for the S fund 1394.15 as of today's close. If this rally fails at those numbers, it is time to get back on the lily pad. If we bust through, I'll hang in a little while longer...

Good luck everyone!!! :D

It is mid day and markets seem to be clawing back. Perhaps (wishful thinking) we end up in the green today. Still keeping an eye on the 10 SMA for an exit, but the MACD on the charts sure look purdy, so I am going to hold my position for now.

Good luck everyone!!!

So by now I was supposed to be doing my happy dance...:dance:But noooooo…. Mr. Market is once again going off script.:pat:

So the sucking sound I heard today was all the profits I made on Tuesday being sucked down the toilet...:Flush:

Let's see what tomorrow brings...perhaps a buying opportunity???:shhh:

Second IFT for October submitted today, effective COB. 100% G Fund.

Probably going to sit it out until after the mid-term elections. By then we should know if this is the beginning of a bear market or a pullback before the next leg higher.

Still getting lots of practice logging in...

Good luck everyone and have a great weekend!:D

Mercy...a sea of red...:(

Weird, I honestly would have thought in a market with stocks being hit so hard that the F fund would have some gains.

Btw looks like you made a good decision to hit the G fund. Charts are not looking good anywhere and futures are looking even more grim atm.

I’m thinking short term c and long term s. Lots of money moving out of markets and I don’t see it going anywhere. That adds up to lots of liquidity.

And we paused around 2712 for a bit on the climb up from session lows. That is the may 12th price. Market is struggling for a climb but that pause hurt. I’m staying on the pad.

Yep and on the S Fund front (DWCPF) it closed on 2 January at 1352.81. It is currently at 1318.22, which means the S Fund is now negative for the year. :(

Glad to be on the lily pad...
