A
democracy is majority rule and is destructive of liberty because there is no law to prevent the majority from trampling on individual rights. Whatever the majority says goes! A lynch mob is an example of pure democracy in action. There is only one dissenting vote, and that is cast by the person at the end of the rope.

Ranging from democracies to dictatorships, the three governing "ism's" under which most of the world's governments, from the beginning of the twentieth century on, can best be classified as being is some form of Capitalism, Fascism and Socialism. And each of these governing systems has their extreme sister systems, namely Imperialism, Nazism, and Communism.

These specific governing systems in practice, and out of necessity, contain elements of the others. For if not they would be incapable of functioning effectively as governments, in a world where they have to compete on so many levels with each other.

The key point is, however, that these three forms of government can and do, from time to time, mutate or drift in identity into one or more of the others. And this appears to be what is taking place in America at this critical time.

The United States is a Democracy (in the form of a Constitutional Republic) firmly rooted within Capitalism. It was crafted, at its inception from wisdom and will, by a group of visionary individuals, and their remarkable ability to forge a new nation upon the pillars of an incredible document: the Constitution of the United States of America and its inclusive Bill of Rights. So what went wrong? "We the People" went wrong.

No one in his or her right mind can doubt that. as a nation, we are drifting dangerously off course from that enlightened destiny which the framers of the constitution brilliantly set for us.

Could anyone believe that if those men of vision were brought forward in time, they would in any way approve of the present declining state of America from the initial plateau of lofty ideals, which they so carefully set in motion, to its present status of declining political health? I don't think so.

Under nonpartisan examination, one has to conclude that all the evidence would indicate that we are heading rapidly toward becoming a "Fascist Corporate State. [More]
