Tnx Wheatherweenie... The military has done so many good things for my family that it is really an honor for me to serve. I will make the best of it by attempting to max the deployment allowed contribution to my TSP (if i can). I already have all my special and incentive pay to go to my TSP so I am not even going to miss that since i'll never see it.
I am leaning towards 30c30s40i allocation when i deploy. I don't think we will have meltdown within the year that I will be deployed.
As for the market; it is see sawing and we all just got to time it right. Tnx to our experts here like Ebb, TSPGO, Tom, Top rankers (excluding me), Wheatherweenie, 350zz, 12%, moderators, and the rest of TSP talk we are pretty much hitting within the ballpark figure. Keep up the good work guys, and tnx for taking us with you in making money here in TSPTalk...

Tnx a bunch for all your support. My son was born premature (29 weeks) and we were going to lose him. To make a long story short, they sent a C141from Hawaii to pick him up a day after he was born, he stayed at Tripler hospital for 3 months and my command gave me and my wife tdy orders to be with him. Now, I don't know of many private organization that would do that to a regular JOE like me which is why I would go anywhere they send me just to give something back. He is turning 3 next month and losing a year with him (in my opinion) is worth an effort to pay back for the life that he is enjoying now.
On another note, I went 100g before 12000 est Friday. I am seeing positive things next week but I want to see what Monday will bring before i make my move again. Good luck to all and pls don't follow me. I'm lost as a puppy...

I didn't realize that about your son, unless I missed it or was so wrapped up in my own pathetic life that I missed it. That's a great thing about your son. I wish the media would report more good things that the military does do for it's people. Yes, some people get screwed over, just like anywhere else. I've come to the conclusion though that things happen for a reason, and for the most part, good things happen to good people.
Oh, I'm sure that "puppy" quality is what attracted your wife to you in the first place..........

Well, I lost all my gains for the week. I was moving to the g fund cob Thursday but got too greedy. Next week is another story and i hope that we all see some green towards the end of the month. GL to all...

Seems like 203rd Corps is where we are heading right by the border of Pakistan. There are 5 Corps operating in Afghanistan and 205th and 203rd are the hot beds.
Went 100i before 1200 est Tuesday. I fund looks pretty good for this week. Was going to make my move Monday but fell asleep with the kids lol. I'm starting this early this time so I won't forget. hehehehehe...

I did what I said I would do; not be on top too long;-)
I am going to lick my wound and head to safety. August is also not looking too good as far as seasonality is concern. I'll preserve what little I got for now. I think I must have lost 5-7% within the last 4 days. But then again who is counting...
