PUI!

I have been posting around tonight. I could get in to trouble but likely not.

Anybody out there? Anybody at all? That's a quote or misquote from the end of The Day After. That has made me remember the BBC film Threads. God we were being gloomy back in the 80s. With good reason. Perhaps these films helped end the cold war. I was stationed in the UK at that time and we all were more than a bit nervous.

The getting in trouble thing-I have been wondering about FireWeatherMet's new avatar and wanting to ask him if his faith has diminished, based on the previous avatar. Why he changed for that matter.

So I went looking for FireWeatherMet's home. I can't find one. Nothing in the intro thread either. He joined in June 09 and started posting in January 10. Joined the autotracker this year? He has had some very interesting avatars and posts.

Due to lack of another thread, I will ask here. FWM, what's up with the new avatar? Is you faith diminishing?

PO

Hey I'm out here, but may not be for long it's past my bedtime.
Our friend FWM has had some very interesting avatars, they all told a story of his beliefs. The first I remember was Che Gueverache guevara.png, then he changed to the Infidelinfidel.jpg then Hugo ChavezChavez.jpg, now it's poor Clint.

IMHO! I think Coolhand has the best avatar! His avatar is HOT!!!

FWM also had the Obama Superman avatar. I like his new one.

Today would be a good day for the USPS to be on a 5 day work week. That way I'd probably still be in the bed...

Oh, this one is good. Really good.

Caution- the video has some "adult words" near the beginning, but after a while it really starts to move.

[h=1]Bohemian Rhapsody - Under Arrest [/h]

In this hilarious video, a Canadian man arrested for being drunk in public is seen arguing (gently) in front of a squad car police camera. At first, the man denies "having been sort of intoxicated, as you proclaim." After stumbling over his words, he segues into a rendition of Queen's 1975 hit "Bohemian Rhapsody." As in singing the entire song. (He does get a few of the lyrics wrong.) He even attempts an a capella rendition of the song's musical breakdown.
Near the end of the video, a police office asks him to "calm down," to which the man responds, "I can't," before finishing the song up with a pun on the initials for Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
He then returns to a seeming state of calm, putting on his glasses and asking the officer, "Do you have to cuff me? Physical violence is the least of my priorities."
