Playing the I fund

My aunt said the I-fund will close today at $18.32 (down $0.09)
MSCI was down 0.114% today.
With yesterday's I-fund-share-price being fudged 0.5% too high,
the I-fund should be about $18.30 today (down 11 cents).

Greg if the "fudged .5% is right I think it should be -12 cents, at least it was on the 10th of Feb. (.62) = 12 cents. :D

I-fund share price today is $18.29 (down 12 cents). The I-fund price is lower now than it was on Jan 4th and here I sit holding 100 percent I-fund.

There's a few more days left. Hats off to us 100% I-Fund Brothers & Sisters.:)

Here's to holding the line & keeping the faith.
Cheers!

Well, the I fund must go up "soon" 'cause the dollar's gonna fall. (or did we all say that all of last year?) Still, seems likely, but when? When? Futures markets priced now as if two more Fed hikes still likely....

I'm sticking with the I Fund for now

I'm only about 20% invested and it's all in International Funds. Staying out of US Markets for now, but I did add some more I Fund on Friday. For now it has the lowest risk. However, being in the Market at all right now is high risk/reward.

US Markets are over bought, but the trend was still up on Friday. Things have changed some this weekend, and the markets could be under pressure next week!!! If your buying dips good chance you will get one sometime during the next week to add shares.

Good trading/investing for those that play short-term moves. I don't expect much help from the dollar. It seems the market has built in that the FED is heading to 5% for now. TO BE CONTINUED!!!!

The TA's I follow are 3 in cash, 2 still in Internationals and all are very cautious as we push to the 1300's on the S&P. Most good rallies start from oversold conditions and this last move up did not!!!! Stay cautious my friends!!!

The MSCI shows 0.0% for today. http://www.msci.com/equity/index2.html ( use todays date Jan 20, 2006, then cick GO ) Japan still hurting the I fund, is now at a four week low. Foreign investors pulling their money out of Japan, perhaps looking to invest in U.S. stocks. Japanese investors (only) may have a hard time maintaining the Japan Bull market. http://yahoo.reuters.com/stocks/Quo...920_2006-02-20_07-54-32_T166570&symbol=6758.T Still looking for the correction to end, but hate getting cut by that falling knife. My contrarian view tells me to keep expecting a pop up in the I fund soon, without it taking it back the next day. Good investing to all.

Vectorman is correct. The US stock markets are closed but international markets were open. MSCI EAFE lost 0.233% in euros.

The Nikkei is up +2.96% last night, the DAX (still open) shows +0.64%, and the FTSE (still open) +0.22%. It is likely that we will see a gain today. Let's wait for Oil and dollar results. Still 100% I for my TSP.
