Playing the I fund

It might be 17.98. I think they still owe us an FV of .83%. So, .83% + .6% = +1.43% or 25 cents.

You're right ebb, that FV happened on Monday so now the I fund is square again.

Wheels was good at informing us of these FV's when they happened. However he no longer posts comments because of one of our posters.

No BS

LOL, good call!!

Next time let us know BEFORE noon the previous day.

Thanks!

Well MM, I couldn't tell yesterday if it was going to move at all or I would have said something....

I had expected the I to move a day delay behind the S&P for various reasons.....and I was expecting it to drop to the 56-57 range before it did turn north.....

But it looks like it could move up some more .....given back about an additional 4% in the fund.....

Up? Down? Which is it? Come on, we need help!!

MM, don't fight the power of interest rates and the current worldwide trend that's in place, discounting the overall effect they have on pretty much every type of security. The CB's will protect their Treasury holdings (think bonds, not stocks) 100X before giving equity holders a second thought. You're swimming against a tsunami. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I'm just hoping to swim about 20 meters before the G saves me. :D

Could make up that +600 plunge a couple days ago.

Ya know, although I bailed (I) I'm still rather satisfied with my butt parked in (S).

Anyways, I have more shares of (S) than I did of (I)!:p

:D
