I was not following your System, Oleg. My strategy was that the Market would pop this morning and then trade lower, possibly down
to 1800 level on S&P. I took your decision of selling into the rally as a small confirmation that my strategy was correct, I'm wrong so far..
 
Looks like yet another bear trap. I'm glad I didn't go short, but would have been nice to recoup all of yesterday's losses, and then some. I have no regrets as discretionary trading is not something I do with regard to trading systems. Will be interesting to see if this bounce has legs into tomorrow or if we start to go back down. As of right now, the System is staying put in CASH. We'll see what it has to say come closing time..
 
DCA'd into more TSLA puts. Stock just hit major resistance and completed bull flag and prior decline retracement. Looking for a $150-155 price target to unload. Super high risk though..

Yes, System is still in CASH, might go LONG COB today if the strength persists. You are mistaken if you think this System tries to pick tops and bottoms, it is a trend following system and, as such, seeks to hold onto prevailing trends (in this case, the trend is still bullish). The Indicator System is more arbitrage-prone in nature and identifies shorter term trading opportunities.

Trying to predict tops and bottoms and front-running trends can be costly if you are wrong, which is often the case with such trading strategies.
 
Looks like the System will continue to remain in CASH today. The market has had ample opportunities to break out to the upside and hasn't. With the tapering officially in effect, investors will likely look to earnings for future guidance. A disappointing earnings report by a big name leaves equities vulnerable in the short term.
 
Good day to be in CASH. Making some serious coin on the downside and loving every minute of it. The bulls have 1 week left to pull a miracle out of their hat. If not, the weak January should make for a great trading year.
 
System Update:

System will go LONG COB. I started scaling into TNA. Bought 25% position at $73.
 
Added a 25% XIV position at $31.40. This is still a bull market folks. Days like yesterday and today are gifts, I'm leaving greed and the rest of my emotions out of this and following the System's bias.

That was YOUR 800 share order I saw go through...
 
Added another 25% lot TNA at $69.35, currently net 50% long TNA (avg price $71.18) and 25% long XIV ($31.40)
