Fairly smooth tonight to set up account - it recognized my phone number. As others have said, many dead links and data is not filled in prior to May 26, no prior statements, no meaningful personal investment performance, etc. Tried the Mutual Fund window and was able to set up an account (didn't fund it yet - not thrilled to pay the annual fee and burn an IFT.) It glitched but I finally got in fully after closing the browser and re-login. The MFW is also not populated fully. You can search funds using various criteria and it functions fine once you narrow down a list. A bit of a trip seeing, for example, the proportion of a fund's holdings that involve handguns, tobacco, etc. Very ESG friendly. Also allows sorting on historical fund performance, for those that go in for that sort of metric. But when you select a fund to learn more about it, a new window pops open, which seems good, but there's no data populated behind it, so it was a blank window tonight on the few funds that I tried. Back to the TSP savings account, the balance looked accurate compared to a statement from just before the transfer. And I was able to confirm new funds went in last Thursday May 26, for those still getting a paycheck. I understand why they haven't announced a big reopening yet - still lots of tinkering needed - but some good signs for early date.
