Nope. It's tanking now.
This is part of the emotional bear trap. Walk or run it down to the lower bollingers on the main indicators and then snarl them up and make chasers out of them. Too many are bearish and only see the bad parts of the report... why? Because that's financial reports and media, they want the masses to bite on the hype. All forward looking macro data is bullish. Dollar behaving like we want and still well within its channel.

Let me ask for my own clarification. If bear traps are set like you described above. And the big boys set them, then is it the retail crowd getting emotional and selling thier shares to the big boys? Or, is this a play between big boy "longs" vs big boy "shorts" to outwit each other?
"Big boy's meaning money managers".

have you ever seen that eddie murphy movie where the old dudes are trading on the orange crop report or that russell crow movie where he's a british trader that gets the market to move in one direciton based on fear, gets a sale price and then buys it all up and then everyone else chases the prices moving them up? Same thing.
and the conspiracy theorist in me thinks GS did that in fall of last year, help scare everyone and create a equity clearence sale and then accumulated in March. I'm not saying they created it, but they capitalized on it in many different ways. basically, all accumulators buy fear (and some create it).

Yes, I have seen them. So, GS is running the market and everyone is watching what they are doing. I see now.

not just them though. to be fair, every sector/stock/commodity/currency has their players. It will always be that way. Just like a big stack in poker compared to somebody down to the felt

Yeah right the market is not manipulated. PPPHHHFFFFF!!!! 
I remember last year when the feds where going to bail out the banks. Every time the news came out that they hadn't passed it yet that the market would go lower. The news was they where close to resolving and passing the market would go up. Then they pass the package and the market tanked BIG. It is surprising how the market goes opposite of the news. Something to think about. How bad would the crash of 29 have been if the news media was as available then as it is now?

Great day yesterday. Tough luck for those of us that reduced our percentages in the "I" Fund last week because the dollar was gaining strength. One IFT left for the month. Let's hope that the expected pull back for today is not a full blown sell off. Fingers crossed.
Looks like a slight buy back unless the bulls get busy and rally before the bell. With the holiday tomorrow Friday is making me nervous on which way the market will run. The day after a holiday has not done well and a Friday on top of that. :worried:
