Nasa, OPM website has a link where you can see the status of pending retirements.... OPM.GOV/RETIREMENT on webpage quick link on right side of page, "retirement processing status" Also, Just received my first interim pay 5/1/12, amount appears to be very low, about 60% of 22 yrs Govt service, no military time, sick leave time calculated. I retired @ 70.5K high 3, and am getting $830 monthly !!! Good thing I'm financially prepared to wait 7-9 months. Congratulations..

Just saw in the paper this morning that the CEO of Facebook turns 28 today. Wish I had just 1% of his money.

Ya... That Zuckerberg is a fresh faced lookin kid is'nt he?? I think he's worth 30-40 Bil? And who knows after Facebook IPO ??? Another cheer for Capitalism. Do you read his former Facebook co-founder, Savoran, I think his name is, is taking Singapore citizenship before the IPO to avoid US taxes....

Would be nice to close those loopholes for tax purposes.

Well the way things are going it looks like May will be a losing month 3 years in a row. Dang it.

Nasa, No one likes losses but at least you were near the top of the tracker and had some gains to give back a little..... My max gain YTD was about 2.5% and that's long gone!! Dang it too... And no more contributions for us to make to bulk up the account a little either... That takes getting a little used too.
