mojo's Account Talk

Thanks for the link/info Bullit. The whole financial world just looks like one big ponzi scheme to me at this point. This line of yours gave me a chuckle though.:)

"It was Goldman Sachs, the anti christ." Bullit

I'm getting a bit irritated by this rally since I'm not in. DOOM DOOM:D It won't last much longer.

Nice to see members on here making money.

Very interesting. I wondered how that could have made $9 billion in the first quarter. Now it makes sense. Their clients / customers didn't make money. Only their own pockets (and shareholders) were the beneficiaries.

Weren't they playing with 10 billion of our TARP money too?

BIG MONEY MOVING INTO COMEX GOLD & SILVER

It just recently came to my attention from two different confidential sources that JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs have been buying large amounts of Calls in gold and silver. This made me put on my gumshoes and take a serious poke around the COMEX option open interest once again.

Good reading, mojo. I'd forgotten about Stockhouse. thanks!

I've been looking into Martin Armstrong's theories on economic cycles. Anyone here have any opinions on his theories (economic pi cycle)?

He is in prison now for some type of fraud but his ideas and findings are very interesting.

There's a thread. http://www.tsptalk.com/mb/showthread.php?p=205612#post205612

I follow this and have back tested it. It seems to work great, but I wonder how the manipulations from institutions and the FED can change this. I will continue to follow the Business Cycle as it seems to save the losses which is what hurts a portfolio.

There have been some discussions about Armstrong and his theory in my thread and in the Last Months Best Fund thread (Greg/McDuck). I am left thinking that if he is crazy, why the attempts on his life (although, he could be an ass and crazy...), but the backtesting still shows his theory works (recent history exempted).

Thanks for the link :) Good stuff. I guess I don't get around enough on this board. Business Cycle Buy & Hold Strategy, never been to that area. Where did you find out about Armstrong?

It's Tom's fault. Checkout Tom's Daily market comment http://www.tsptalk.com/comments_archive/comments_3_20_08.html

Then posts 137 & 138 in the Ask Tom thread. From there I googled Business Cycle and found the plot Tom posted. Also, 12%, Birchtree, Griffin and many others started talking about the business cycle from summer 2007 - march 2008 which had me primed to see the 8.6yr Business Cycle plot.
Armstrong's story is very intreging. The Wikipedia post was changed between June 2008 and now. But, we are hearing from him now (he has a lot of time on his hands). The original wiki entry talked about the CIA wanting his computer model and his refusal to give it up as the reason for him serving 7 years on contempt of court charges. [on soap box] Kind of reminds me of that reporter who served contempt of court charges for not giving up the person who gave them the wife of the yellow cake debunker's affilliation with the CIA. Karl has a lot to answer for and will this country ever be able to fix the damage done during that time? [off soap box]

Fake money make more FAKE money, we outsiders are so screwed:mad:

Reports: GM to export China-built cars to US

Maybe they will use lead paint...
Maybe use non-approved material…
Maybe a little petroleum product in the leather…
Maybe they will be as efficient as Boeing is finding them...

Maybe this is an insidious plot by the US Government to take control of China!!!

Ya Gotta Wonder

Yuk, yuk:p

Government Motors = Communist Motors

Or, maybe it is the Treasuries way of moving from the "G(overnment) Fund (Motors)" to the "C(ommunist) Fund (Motors)".

A little more risk, but so much more opportunity:)
