Market Talk / August 27 - September 2

Looks like the S and C are nosing over a little.

Wine festival all weekend Nauvoo, Il. see ya there. Wahoo!

I love Colorado, I think I want to move there.

Oh yeah. I'm still on vacation. It's my birthday. Going out with a couple ladies tonight to tie one on.

Carry on, folks. :)

Investor or Trader... Which Are You?

Most market participants consider themselves to be "investors." But if you look at a list of the really big winners on Wall Street, you will see that most of those who make big profits, list themselves as "traders."

When looking at the 4-year cycle tops os 1966, 1994, and 2002, in all 3 cases the market rallied out of a 4-year cycle low in October and charged ahead for 3+ years, ultimately gaining more than 60%. The low has recently passed which means G funders the light is now green. Come get some. And don't worry about those bullish head fakes - OK worry then.

Hope you night owls don't mind if I spread a little bull manure around.

Concentrate on the movements of the A/D lines themselves - unless the A/D line is in a bullish configuration, important price advances will tend to have a hard time in making much in the way of headway. A bullish cinfiguration is when the A/D line is above all three of its trend lines. The NYSE AD composite continues to make new all time highs. Prices are coiled to spring.

How does one so bullish top that? Ah let's see, there have been times in which the NYSE group of stocks have declined without the benefit of a divergent top with the NYAD itself. There has never been a time in which a bear market has started without this same divergence intact. Snort.

Show-me I like your style. I've been working my buy list and I'm at $37K already and the list is pitiful. I can tell everybody that prices are starting to get expensive - asset inflation.

I feel a small pullback coming then after that lets go. I am growing more fond of the C fund. Big caps equal global companies. One on your list GDI is in my back yard. I use to work there and know a lot who do. Its been a butt kick'n company as well as Harris. They build AM transmitters near me. Both have been here since I was a kid.

See ya! Snort!

It wasn't that long ago they were giving Gardner away at $25.00. Now I have to really pay up at $36.00, but even so it's going a lot higher in the next three years. You know we shot down a ballistic the other day - cool. That should creep out the Iranian Mullahs.
