Hey Burro - is that a set from Gumby visits the Grand Canyon?

close, somewhere on the Colorado plateau, desert SW, a favorite haunt of mine.

actually i was bout to get carried with the anatomy lesson in the global warming thread yesterday but thought better of it and went fishing instead.

but since you asked ... the feature the photographer is standing on (ouch) is called the "C**kscomb", i'll leave you to figure out what the butte in the distance is called ...

sensuous place that desert, you can find God out there, but if you're not careful He'll find you.

FAB1...here's a Gumby visits Playa

View taken from the roof of the Grand Porto Real in Playa Del Carmen....that's Cozumel in the background and the 5 star Royal Resort to the left. That nice blue water looks good on a Winter day back in the states.

One of my favorite parts of the world.

You've shown some beautiful photos there, nnuut!
That must have been a scary night in Boston -
but the iceberg is more frightening simply because the secrecy of the hidden deadly dangers!

Haven't we seen that `guess' image before? ...it looks familiar, anyway.

I thought that was an angle of view that many had not seen before, just think what a Spy Satellite can see!:D

I want to share a couple of pictures with you. I wish I could just load them into this post so you don't have to click on them, but I can't do that on this computer. Norm tried to talk me through how to do it once, but either I'm terrible at following directions or Vista won't play nice. It's got to be the second one, right? ;oP

The first photo is a shot of a cloud that was colored during a sunset when we were out on a picnic. And the winter scene was shot from my cluster mailbox. The sunset photo has not been photoshopped in any way. And the winter scene has been cropped and a fade frame enclosed around the cropped photo. That's all.

Please check them out. I hope clicking on the attached jpg's will be worth the extra step.

It's a beautiful world we live in. And any day we spend on this side of the dirt is a good one, right?

Yep, that's exactly how I'm doing it. But it won't open the picture into the post. It attaches it okay, but you still have to click on the attachment to view it.

Thanks for trying again Norm!

But these photos are worth the extra clicking you have to do I think.
