Peaceful Gains appears to be going out on a limb. I got this in an email this morning.

Happy National Aviation Day!

We are switching to the S Fund ("Extended market"), which tracks midcap and smallcap stocks. Mid and smallcap stocks appear to be recovering faster than the large stocks, which are tracked by the C Fund.

This recommendation is consistent with the recommendations we've been making in our ETF newsletter. In that newsletter, we've been in midcap stocks since last week; we're switching to smallcap stocks this week.

It's NOMB but the small caps have been outperforming for the last 7 years - you must be optimistic for this to continue. Don't let recent activity be a false dawn.

This was the first response I got after I plunged in this Pond. My opening comment was stressing the advantage of S and I - but especially the S Fund when Market activity is picking up. So I made it known I was shifting from 50/50 (S/I) to have S take the bulk.

The response was from a guy named Birchtree. Apparently he had a long standing addiction to the G Fund and after years of therapy managed to overcome it and remained in High Risk. Amazingly I have not seen S Fund activity from him (at least that I can think of)

I like your ativar a lot Kevin. Is that an RV?
You look comfortable and real - not pretendous and arrogant.

Anyway - have a good day and thanks for the post.

Gonna (try to) sit on my hands for a while. 100 G.

After 12 noon today is a new month. Good luck everybody. :)

Dodged a bullet.

Yesterday when I left for work everything seemed fine. It was raining but the creek behind my house was still in it's banks. About an hour later my wife called to say that the water was coming up in the yard. 20 minutes later I called to see how things were doing and she said that she had started moving stuff out of the sun room up into the living room. 20 minutes more and she said that the entire back yard was flooded and the water was over the back steps. At that point I left work and headed home. :worried:

Together we moved the furniture out of the sun room and started trying to figure out what to do with all the crap in the garage. I decided that I needed to rent a U-Haul and just start filling it up. I called my brother-in-law and he and my sister and one of their daughters came over and helped empty the garage. Thanks to Jeff, Kim and Halley!

Water did get in the sun room but just barely and no water got in the garage. I have video and I'll try to get it on U-tube later today.

I'm really fortunate. So many here are devastated. :(

Glad to hear it wasn't worse. Good luck today.
