For what it's worth, I am anticipating a buy signal tonight, I just sold my short positions (TZA) and bought long (TNA). I think the market is oversold now. I am out of IFt's so I'm stuck in the G fund till July.

I have one trade left and am very interested in using it.
What made the system flip? And don't say the spreadsheet said so. We all know you designed this subjective calculator. Have you properly accounted for the gut feel element?
I have no problem with gut feelings, just interested in how you factor them in. So i can use it to go with mine.
I got a chance at a coffee cup here. Screw the retirement pipe dream, i'll work until i'm dead, and enjoy a good coffee while i'm here if i can.

Front run my system? I only made the call because I new it would flip. Gut feeling has nothing to do with it. It is based solely on numbers.

Numbers. It really doesn't seem to matter whether I calculate my signal near the midddle of the day or at the end of the day. I usually use the end of the day. The other day I calculated it at 10:41 am and that night it flippped.

As of today (6/27/12) I have decided to end the posting of my system's signal. I am tired of defending it. I don't have the time nor the desire. I hope all of you that read my thread will make a fortune in the future. Good bye and good luck.

Well even though I haven't used your signal in a direct way, It is a free service and people can use it as another tool to guess market direction. You have stated several times that your system may not work directly with the TSP interfund transfer limits and people could relize this and still use it as a trading tool. You will be missed and it will just another trading tool going to the wayside because of having to over defend yourself. We tend to mock what we don't understand and instead of evaluating it for our purposes, we tend to get you to change it to how our thinking process works and change it's effectiveness for how you use it. So I hope you still post even though you won't be posting your signals. The more people that post their ideas of possible market direction may help us to make a better guess because sometimes that all it is.

I honestly don't blame you. I've been seeing nothing but people ragging on you the last few days and I don't even understand why. I may just not get how systems work, but I definitely kept an eye on which way your system was going. I know in the past you have stated when you went against your system, etc. so obviously your signals would be based solely on the system and not your personal opinion of what was going to happen next. Some people here see this as a big competition. I'm just here to try gaining more and more knowledge so I can make more money than on my own...whether it be a penny or $1,000. I don't use the autotracker to compete with others...it is just an easier way to see where I am at for the year than logging through tsp's website and seeing the last twelve months (updated only monthly).

Sorry to see your signals go by the wayside. I think you have a very good system, and the results speak for themselves. No matter what you do, there are always going to be critics. Although I continue to post my signals, I've cut WAAAY back on my interactions here, just because some people didn't like what I was saying or how I said it. Perhaps you should reconsider posting your signals, because I think it helps a lot of good people here. Just so everyone understands that there is a disclaimer with your signals, that it's for informational purposes only, and you are not liable for their moves or the timing of their moves.
Either way, I wish you much success, and hope you keep posting your thoughts on the market.

I hope you reconsider. I find your system and the discussions about your system extremely helpfull. Like many others here I am just trying to learn and attempt to understand the nuiances that other traders make when there is a decision to make on IFTs. And I do read the other posts in order to help me decide on which way to go for my investments.
