I wish I could predict that with my sysytem, but I can't. The reason is due to me having to wait for the closing price of the S&P 500 each day. I use it, the previous day's closing price, and the VIX to determine the sell signal each night. The buy signal for today was not as strong as it was a few days ago.

Unfortunately it's not how well you start but how you finish. I was doing pretty good until mid-August. Thought about getting out for a short rest but had two bad days in a row and thought well let me stay in just a little longer and make that up and the bottom fell out. Even with a good October I was still 15K behind my best mark by the end of 2011.

Same here. But if I would have followed my system, instead of the system I was following, I would have been much better off.
