Intrepid_Timer's PUBLIC Account Talk

Your welcome ripper. Got a sell signal today so I'll be moving from 100S to 100F. I'll also be selling my Fas later and buying Faz.

I've been waiting for a prescient move that will help bring me closer to you - and now you will be on hold for the next 16 trading days. You must have been talking to a new friend - that could be "The Cooler". He's been in your area for a couple of weeks. I'm on my way to close the gap.

Trying to jinx me? :p

Thanks!

Only I can turn gold into coal!!! No one can put the boogy on a market like me. All I have to do is put money in the market and it will go down 3-5% within 2 trading days or less.

Done it 3X this year for a net -9%.

Lucky for you I didn't go all in today....

Forgive me, but I'm a newbie here. I'm just wondering if this is real and most of those here are actually moving around their real TSP $ as indicated, or is this just a contest?

I've been pretty much buy and hold in the past (C, S, and I), but I've been burned a few times because of that. I started paying more attention recently and got spooked back in late Aug and pulled out. We all know how well that worked!

Any way, just curious of how serious I should take these moves I see of posters jumping 100% from one fund to another.

You must remember that everyone has a different balance and that may tend to reflect on any tracker moves. Most here are using real money to make their decisions with, otherwise why bother. So shallow pockets may have a tendency to be more aggressive with less to loose. But then again, anyone with a large balance can make some serious money moving around building performance. The more risk the greater the potential gains. Some members have accumulated tens of thousands of shares over a working life time.

I move my TSP just like I post here. With my investment accounts, Birch is right. My smaller accounts I move 100% but with my larger accounts I move 50% and if the price goes down 5%, I buy another 25% and another 25% if it goes down 10%.

IT what is your opinion on this ....
(I cut and paste from an internet ad)

Why Stocks Could Collapse...
Beginning as Soon as October 31st!

The Fed has propped up the equity markets for months...
but that could soon come to a disastrous end!

That internet add has been around for years; they just change the date every week:

Kidding aside, there is such talk in the case QE doesn't follow the election, but it will, as countries continue to fight over whose currency should be valued lowest. USA has been winning so far.

I have been asked to start an e-mail list for my TSP moves because some people can't always get to here to see them before the deadline. If you would like to be added to the list, please send me a PM with your e-mail address. I will send out an e-mail at approximately 11:45 am EST when I do an IFT. Sorry, this is the earliest I can do it............

Mike
