Intrepid_Timer's PUBLIC Account Talk

Agreed, thanks for the update. Regarding your outside account, have you considered getting a margin account so you can short fas/faz, rather than long faz/fas? If you're holding for more than a few days, you'll likely benefit from the built in decay. I rarely go long anymore. If I want to go long, I'll just short a leveraged inverse etf. (unless I can't get my hands on any to short of course... that's the only time I buy.) Just my 2 cents.

Not gonna bother with margin right now. I'll be switching to mutual funds anyway.........my USAA account won't let me buy ETF's on margin for some reason.

When your system flips, do you get levels of indication?
Like wishy-washy, slightly, extreme ?

Ummm, sort of, but not really. Some of my indicators were flashing sell today, some were flashing buy. But based on proprietary "level of importance", it all added up to a sell signal. Plus the indicator I added a couple months ago and is now my most important indicator, is doing quite well.

Just sold Fas at $22.15 for a gain of 3.26%. Bought Faz at $13.14.

Beginning balance on 01-04-10: $10000. Current balance: $17298. (Up 72.98% for the year).

Sold Faz at $13.00 for a loss of 1.06%. Bought Fas at $22.10.

Beginning balance on 01-04-10: $10000. Current balance: $17114. (Up 71.14% for the year)

Getting a sell signal. Moving 100 G and will sell my Fas later and buy Faz. Should switch to an inverse small cap ETF because financials aren't acting right, but i"m expecting banks to take a big hit on this one...........

Just got this from the TSP website:

12-Month Personal Rate of Return: 41.99%

C fund 12-month: 4.93%

What do you think of that Birch? :p

I think that is absolutely wonderful. But the "Cooler" is still looking for you. Stay on your toes because you could be mine by the end of October. Let's meet at tracker rank #25. That means you silde backwards as I continue to move forward.
