So I get a call from some IT person with Norton Antivirus with his phone # coming up 0000000000 and they said my computer had been hacked. I asked him how he knew that and started directing me how to find "warnings" and "alerts" on my computer. Of course, all this was suspicious to me. He then told me type in www dot logmein123 dot com on Internet Explorer. I told him I don't have IE and this seemed to confuse him and he finally came back on and had me search for it. I guess they can only hack you on IE for some reason. So while he's doing this, I googled the address with Chrome and found it is a scam to get access to your computer, which apparently happens a lot when you buy a new computer. He started swearing he wasn't a scammer so I just said "Sell crazy some place else, we're all booked up" ( a line from "As Good As It Get") and hung up.

Warning, don't fall for anyone telling you to go to www dot logmein123 dot com!!!!

Apparently this is is an old scam. I guess I need to broaden my horizons and stop looking at only financial sites..............
