No thanks on the beer, based on what you have posted previously.

I do agree with you that it is sad. Like memorial day, the fourth of July should just be made another Monday holiday for the masses to enjoy.

The actual holiday, which I believe is called Cuatro de Julio, marks the day the peoples took command at Hidalgo-Guadelupe New Mexico. From which oppressor no one remembers but it is a great day to go to the beach and get drunk.

There is some stuff around about some dudes who were rebels and wanted a civil war in 1776, but, dude, the cell phone coverage sucked back then and nothing was recorded except like what some dude wrote with a pen. Might have been a duck feather. Yuck Those dudes were so stupid.

We will celebrate the hell out of this. It should always be a Monday.
