I've got the full mainsail and a full jenny flying right now!! Looks like I'll get back to even today after losing Friday and Monday. Because I'm retired, I only go in 50% maximum. I decided that was as much risk as I could handle. Congrats on your last few days...looks like you're scourching the tracks right now. Keep her up and movin forward CC!!!:D:D:D

I'd say you know quite a bit, and you make good decisions. Just because the markets throw us a curve no and then isn't a reason not to play the game..Now, we need ONE MORE + DAY beore I consider going to the Lilly Pad for Friday..GLCC

young in heart and once in a while get lucky well this what i keep telling myself,alot of good people here to follow have to give it up to griffin riding the bull but ebb is good to follow also ,dont follow me i am just watching others and hoping to get lucky thanks and G L F S:)

Almost bit the bullet and jumped to C on 12% advice this am, but Ebb's holding G for the penny and there is a lot on tap for tomorrow:

Still not ready to jump in with both feet...cause as Weatherweenie says...Friends don't let friends buy and hold...at least not quite yet, but soon...:D:

That October 1 fireworks display was a whole lot bigger than I thought it would be..I had expected to buy in on Monday to a week of smaller but upward gains..now I haven't a clue where the market is headed..time to climb the wall of worry again

Will the cup grow a handle? if so, where will it trend down to? Or will tomorrow break out into a new channel?? Until things clear up a little, I'm 75-G, 10-C, and 15-S for tomorrow. GL to all.. and thanks Weatherweenie and Nnuts for your thoughts today..:)

I hope you know that the name nnuut is a noun and isn't plural, but that guy can be a little nnuuts at times but not nnuut's because he hasn't a possessive bone in his body, if you can call it a body (singular of course)!LOL:laugh:
 
Hi Nnut: ( I know...there can't be two of you) You made the wise choice moving to G today..now I wish I was there tomorrow but I decided to buy a mixed allocation for Thursday...don't intend to touch it until 11/3 unless Friday looks to be a total disaster...

I had hoped October was going to stabilize a little with an upward trend...jury's out on that one..

No, I jumped in with 65% stocks, 10% Frog pond, and the rest G....

I'm gambling that those employment numbers are going to come in at or above estimates...Wish me (those of us in for tomorrow) luck...If it goes the other way I'm big time negative for the year...

Are you still tearing up the roadways???Having a good time guzzlin Lucky Beer and eating ribs...Darn but I miss Oklahoma barbeque....:D:D:D

Weathers getting cold up her in WA State...Got down to 37 last night, a far cry from those moderate temps I enjoyed in the Midwest and South..

hello F S sux on the weather still pretty warm down here i think W H is still sailing away probably 80s goingto race friday night last race for the season should take 4th out of about 45 not too bad ,ole blue laid down on me the first 2 races this year i think i laid down last month:D could not cut a light for anything hope we make $ tomorrow G L enjoy the game i already have the 6 point on ice:D

The economy is deceptive like fog. Being fueled on a bunch of hype. Looking for a pullback, so I am jumping to safety of the F It is heading down today to the 50 day moving average, where I think it should bounce off of next week when the plane falls from the sky. If you look at all the charts the resistance is now the prior highs in July. High oil, bad numbers, who cares!
 
Deceptive is right...as Griffin says..you have to seperate the stories set to make a case from the facts....something most of us as TSP Talk try to do everyday..Some like Griffin, Ebb, Birchtree, 12%, Fundsurfer, Nnut, etc. are excellent investors and always provide important thoughts for the day..

Right now..I'm ridin the bull..I expect it to downtrend, but not until this rally runs out...and I'm guessing next Wednesday we see a bit of a downturn. As long as China and the emerging economies donm't tank, I think we'e good. So that's where I'm keeping my focus for now. I'm guesstimating this a going to be an overall positive quarter. I expect another fed rate cut of .25%, and as long as there is liquidity in this market, I think we will all benefit..
