Why would we want to do that at this point and delay an IFT? It only hurts shareholders. New rule is in effect and snail mail restrictions have been lifted. Everyone can use the web for IFT again.
 
oh my! The snail mail restrictions were lifted at noon 4/30/08. I hope you aren't too far behind in your IFT's.

Tom always posts important information like this on the main page. You might want to check it first, before going to the message board.:)
 
Yes been behind the eight ball the past few weeks. I have been busy working on the house so have been totally out of the loop, however I have been doing some DCA'ing on paydays.Tnx for the info. May your investments be money makers.:)
 
Doing a bit of BBQing today myself. I decided to just go with some Boston Butt's have been doing them for a few years now. Two butts about 15lbs total on charcoal and some nice size hickory chunks soaked in water. Should take about 3 and half to 4 hrs. Chopped should give me about 6lbs of BBQ nice vinger redpepper sauce. Got to go about time to add a nice water soaked piece of hickory. Cooking for my sister and her husband who are down from Beech Grove Indiana bringing our mother back home, she went to stay with my sister while my sister was going through her cancer treatment. Thank the good Lord she has been given a clean bill of health. Mom is ready to get back and they are all ready for some BBQ.:laugh:
 
Just continuing to do small DCA'ing each payday buy a little at a time till the market makes a reasonable comeback. Good luck to all us investors hope you all make lots of money.:)
 
Did a little IFT yesterday to be in todays market did a 2% IFT from the G to all funds. So I have 92g 2f 2c 2s 2i. Still doing DCAing each payday with 5% going to the stocks 65f 20g. GL to everyone investing hope everyone makes money. I'm still mad those blasted limits.:D

I did a IFT Friday afternoon to be effective Tueday the 3rd: 80%-G, 7%-C, 10%-S, and 3%-I. This is the highest percentage I have put in stocks this year. I got spooked tonight and cancelled my IFT back to 100%-G. Glad this TSPTalk is available for all of you. Cancellation was no problem and I still have 2 IFTs left for June.

I thank all of you for your knowledge and input.

Not much profit but it's a profit just the same. Will leave the 2% IFT's in the stock funds and continue with the DCA'ing each payday at least till there is a significate change in the market. Have seen a slight increase in my earnings since the DCA'ing even though it is small it still better than a loss.:D

The cost is skyrocketing, how long before the connivers in Washington figure out how to scam our TSP to foot the bill. Still just DCA'ing my contributions on paydays.:mad:

But I submitted it after the cutoff time on Friday. Wouldn't that make it effective TUESDAY, da JUNE 3rd?? This TSP stuff is getting two complicated.

No, it's effective Monday June 2 5PM. Those are the prices you get. IFT after 12 on Friday is the same as doing one Monday before 12.
 
Not doing any IFT's just leaving the 2% in stocks and DCA'ing on paydays. Not making a killing but I'm on the plus side.:)
 
Since the C,S and I are down I might do another IFT of 2% into the stocks giving me 4% in stocks while continuing to DCA on paydays. Still undecided at this point may go in Monday for Tuesdays market or Tuesday for Wednesday. Will just keep an eye open and make decision soon.:D
 
Finally made an IFT 100% I fund late Wednesday afternoon to be in for Friday morning 6/27/08. Did an IFT late Thursday to be back in to the G and F on Monday 6/30/08. However I did leave 3% in the stock funds uping it from my previous 2%. Still DCAing on paydays with most of it going to the I Fund this payday. Will have all my trades available in July should I need to do the same. Blasted trade limits. Wonder how much Barclay's made on this deal with the TSP Board? :mad:

GL -- I have mine split between G and I right now, but I has that classic fade in the afternoon look to it today -- hope I'm wrong...

Your probably gonna be right but I just was taking on the risk. If I'm right I win the gamble if I'm wrong I'm gonna pay. Sometimes we have to leap off the edge and hope we land softly.

I'm just getting real tired of "paying" -- I've been landing "not so softly" lately..
