Epic's Account Talk

I give up at this point....... Who knows which way it's gonna end up :dunno: ? ? ? ?
F&G is pretty much the same.

I'm not even gonna bother with the Market today. The weathers turning nice in my area, and I got other things to do, PLUS have a little fun !!!!

Is there blood in the streets yet? I still say a little patience will pay off, at least until that low gap is filled on the S Fund chart.

A quote from Ira this morning:
"And I am not convinced you're going to get the amount of rate hikes you think. The percentage amount might be there.......they may go to 75-point hikes to get this thing over quicker so they can get into an easing mode to get the economy back on it's feet quicker. Don't forget what I just said. It's a very big possibility."

.

Meh . . . . . . :indifferent:
Good start yesterday but then ended sort of flat. More of the same today??? I saw CAT earnings came in fairly good this morning. That might help in general. Who knows ....... :dunno:
All I know for sure is that I did not hit the Powerball again :(. Someone in Arizona did.

Interesting FYI / I-Bonds

A unique window of opportunity exists this month. By purchasing I-bonds in April, you can lock in the current 7.1% interest rate for the next six months. After that, you’ll receive the new rate of 9.6% for the six months that follow. Because the interest earned on I-bonds compounds every six months, your total return over the next 12 months will be 8.5%.

Something to consider . . . . . . :fing02:

Last day to a very disappointing month. :(
I hope some of you were lucky enough to maybe make some gains. I'm looking at those I-Bonds that will be paying out 9.6% starting in May. That definitely beats what my bank Savings is paying, that's for sure.
GOOD LUCK !!!!!

Your doing better than me. I'm at -2.88% after I got slaughtered in January. I'm just waiting for that precise moment to jump in. It takes a lot of patience. Something that I don't have much of, so it's a challenge.
It's gonna be a while, but it's coming. Don't want to jump too soon. That could be bad.

Can we please switch out the current TSP I fund with this "I fund" for one year? :D

Good Morning. I want so bad for May to be a better month than April, but I'm just not feelin it. Keeping my fingers crossed though and trying to be optimistic. :worried:
I'm gonna throw 10K (the yearly limit) into I-Bonds today. I believe the rate starting today is 9.62%. I'll have to double check. My Capital One Savings is currently only .6%, so doing this is a no brainer if you can tolerate locking those funds down for a year or more.
Futures are all over the place this morning, so it may be a crazy day. It was all
RED 10 minutes ago, and now it's all GREEN
GOOD LUCK ! ! ! !

Almost to 'extreme fear,' does that mean that we're almost to 'blood in the streets?'

Almost to 'extreme fear,' does that mean that we're almost to 'blood in the streets?'

They used to have a longer term chart of this index on https://www.cnn.com/markets/fear-and-greed where you could see the levels back years - during the COVID crash, for example. But it looks like they've taken that off that page for some reason.

If I remember correctly we did see single digits in this indicator during that crash.

Yeah, we've been in EXTREME FEAR a few times before. 2-24-22 and 2-28-22 when I looked back in my posts (most recently), but I don't recall single digit times. There may have been, but I just don't remember. :hypnotized:
