So, it's Good Friday tomorrow. I honestly have no clue where things are headed and quite frankly have lost my enthusiasm for this market overall. As much as I try and keep a positive and optimistic outlook, the economy is tanking, and I have very little confidence of it getting any better any time soon. :sick:
I'm not even going to look at anything Market related until next week. I need a break. Time to have some FUN !!!

You know... A few years ago, I went to NY and one goal was to see the Wallstreet Bull and take a picture with him. It is on a little street island with traffic on both sides and tons of tourist jumping in front and taking pictures from every direction.

I couldn't get a clean picture...exasperated I loudly yelled out "Wait! Let's take a picture of just the Bull!!" Everyone just froze, looked at me confused for about a split second, then miraculously complied and started snapping pictures without jumping in front of the bull for about 5 seconds and then the frenzy continued.

Later, I had to laugh because I was so sure someone was gonna tell me where to go! Lol...:laugh:

Then my sister and I walked to the back of the bull (not as frenzied) and folks were taking pics touching the bull's balls... Lol...yes, I did! :D. No telling where that picture is at. :rolleyes: just kiddin...I know where it's at! It's one of my favorites from the NY trip.
 
Well that was just what I needed. Probably a good thing to do every now and then, just to step away and clear your head.
But I'm back for some more pain ..... LOL

I've not looked at anything since last Thursday, so I need to jump around and see what's going on. Things still seem kinda flat to slightly negative from the little I've looked at so far. I was hoping the second half of the month would possibly be strong. Maybe there's still hope ? ? ? ? :dunno:
Futures have come up a bit from an hour ago, but still RED as of this post.

I think the bulls would be better off with a melt down than a slide lower. The former tends to trigger reversals where a slide is more like the proverbial frog in a pot of water that slowly boils to death.
 
A sea of RED this morning. I screen shot the whole graph and not just USA. Maybe another Up, Down, to Flat day today. :1244::1244::1244:

I have no idea what triggered it to go up today. That is what is troubling. Up one day and down the next. Maybe due to mask mandate gone for travel??? That is a positive! I just don't trust this market. Too volatile.
 
A little more positive vibe in Futures than yesterday. Also, F&G is up a bit. Will it hold??? :ugh:
I'm starting to wonder if Futures even mean anything and if posting them even matters? Like yesterday. It was all RED but the Market shot strait up. So, do Futures even matter?? :dunno:

More often than not it's the last hour of the day that has the most impact. Sometimes it's in the last 15 minutes. It's why I don't watch the market from noon until 4 pm. Nothing you can do once you've made that noon decision. Can I say it one more time how I hate that archaic cut off time in this modern age instantaneous information? There, now I feel better :smile:
