I have to ride out the NO IFT blackout and hope for the best. I'm still six figures down from my high point in November of 2021. :banghead:

So, FOMC Minutes at 2:00 pm today. Last day B4 IFT lockdown / pause. Things could get a little CrAzY . . . . . LOL
WUH!.jpg In jumping around the interweb yesterday and this morning, checking in with the talking heads, I noticed a handful saying stuff like "....something really BIG is going to happen tomorrow...." (which means today). One of them predicted we hit 3777 in S&P today. Another agreed, and implied that from there we shoot strait UP. Who knows really ??? :dunno: The only sure thing is that this market can do ANYTHING at ANY TIME, so I guess we'll just wait and find out. It would be a real bummer if it DID shoot up and we're all in IFT Lockdown mode stuck in G.
With the FED today and the long Holiday weekend coming up, and the overall downtrend, I'll stay on the sidelines and enjoy the show. Besides, I have to get the Smoker and Supplies ready for these babybacks that will be done over Hickory and Apple wood. Now THATS the stuff right there boy ! ! ! !

 
Interesting:
Remember a while back when the whole "Members of Congress / Insider Trading" stories were in the news, and most of the focus was on Pelosi??? I recall people saying " Just follow her trades if you want to make the same money as she does". You can do this because they have to publicly disclose this information.
So Jake (vid link here >>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dER8d_N-wPA ​) went back to check on those investments. He covers it really well and explains how to figure it out. Well done and nice follow-up ! ! !
On the other hand, her Call Contracts.......Not so well done. :cheesy:

Whatever the reason or answer, it's still pumpin with some good follow-through. Day traders putin the squeeze on.
Dollar Tree was up almost 20% at the open this morning. Just another stock I wasn't in. :1244::1244: Always in the wrong place at the wrong time..... :nuts:

Thats why I don't post screen shots from other sites anymore, because I know I'm gonna forget to do that, and I don't want to get anyone in trouble...... :o
 
So I believe there was a gap to be filled in S&P at about the 4120 level. That got filled this morning, and now it seems to be waffling after falling away a bit. Next week starts the new month, with the next interest rate hike ready to be implemented. I'd be surprised if this Bear Market Rally continues into next week, but I guess anything's possible. I'm thinking the day traders sell off at the end of the day today, take their profits, grab a keg and head to the beach for the holiday weekend. :1244::1244::1244:
I'm not even going to think about the market until Tuesday........ I'm out.
Add a Memorial Day meme if you like. I always liked this one ....... :usa2:
