Hey, Ebb thanks for the great discussion on the ebbchart page. I followed ebbcharts for 2 months before jumping in. In only 10 days my returns are:
Ebb system: 7.76%
I fund: 4.61%


Big decision today S fund or I fund for Monday.

You're welcome guys! I'll be moving to the S-fund today instead of the I-fund. The ebbchart tally has the S-fund gaining more than the I-fund plus Dr Faustus findings about combo patterns which points in the same direction makes it a no-brainer. It doesn't mean the I-fund is not going to do well, but I think the S-fund stands a better chance of getting the better gain.

I don't think Tom has time to fiddle with the EbbChart page to change the I-fund into the S-fund, so I'd leave the system with the I-fund. But my ebbnflow account (and real TSP account) will reflect a move to the S-fund.

I made the interfund transfer to 100% S but the dollar has fallen 2 points. Will this cause us problems Monday in the S.

The falling dollar would help the I-Fund today and drive up the price if you're buying shares COB today.

Yes, just go back in and change it. Just make sure after you submit it you get this statement on the following page:

" Your interfund transfer request is confirmed. Your interfund transfer will ordinarily be effective within 2 business days. "

YES, just as weatherweenie said...the new IFT cancels the previous one, as long as you do it before 12:00 EASTERN standard time.

As long as it's before 11:59 a.m. eastern time, you are able to do a "change IFT" function within the REAL TSP allocation system, and it almost always is effective that day at the end of the business day.

I had a helluva time getting my IFT done today 30 minutes before the deadline. There must be a huge number of participants making IFT's today.

I'm begining to think that too. The Feds will begin to think, all of us making so much money so fast has got to be illegal!!!
