Ebb,

Glad you brought the S back in to the system. I've been scratching my head from the beginning about you not having a U.S. market vehicle available.

Well EBB,
I have been following your system(somewhat) and have decided to give it a go. Especially since I am such a lousy dart thrower.
Thanks for all of your hard work. Looking forward to better trading for all of us.

Ebb - I read your comments about pattern five accuracy being low. I was wondering how far back you go for your statistics. When you refer to "5/14" accuracy for the I fund and "3/13" accuracy for the S fund, does that mean you are looking at the previous 14 days of data (or so?)

Copied from Ebb's system page:
"Here is the updated tally for each pattern (1-8) on the ebbchart from January 16 through Aug. 20, 2007. The tally for patterns 1, 2, 4 and 7 shows the number of up days and total gains when using the C, S or I-fund. The tally for patterns 3, 5, 6 and 8 shows the number of down days and total loss saved for the C, S or I-fund. The ebbchart has two sets of patterns: One set (1, 2, 4 and 7) goes to stocks (I-fund) and the other set (3, 5, 6 and 8) goes to safe haven (G/F)."

Thanks, budnipper1. That is right, its from January 16 when I first started tracking the C and S-fund along with the I-fund. :)

Ayla, 5/14 would mean -- right in 5 out of 14 appearances of the pattern since January 16.

Well, I've been saying before, as long as you're in the market when you see two or more greens you'd be okay.

You're welcome, wv-girl! Glad to have you onboard. :)

Wow, this contrarian plays are doing well. Four out of five (80%) accuracy rate if today pans out also. The switch to S-fund because of the bigger gains and higher percentage rate of accuracy (77% compared to I-fund's 64% in contrarian mode) didn't exactly make any difference with the I-fund skyrocketting also.

Made an IFT back to the I-fund. Good luck all! :)

Love your system. Pretty exciting, indeed. I'd like to echo the sentiments of a previous poster, Lobo, who on 8-15 wrote: "It would be a great benefit to once again see from 2 to 4 days ahead in order to follow your moves. Think about it, if you will." If it's just not possible, of course, we would understand but a "tentative" day or two ahead sure would be great for all of us federal and postal employees who work days and have no internet access. Even one day ahead would be great. Just a little reminder to, well as Lobo put it...think about it, if you will."

Analogy on the subject of "Special Requests":
I remember when I was growing up and asking Mom "what's for supper next week?" She'd say something like "same as any other day...beans and taters!" Usually, she was right. But, I knew that if she found something on sale at the old "A&P" before Tuesday came around, then her menu might be upgraded to include pork chops. She had a pretty good "system", but her prediction skills were controlled by the "market", and the only insider info she got was seeing the coupons in the paper. So, Ebb... I'll just be happier than a pig at the slop trough to just hear what's for supper, one day at a time.:D

I also! Wow! This strange ole' fart is overjoyed to have you to follow and all you others are also contributing to my continued well being. Thanks so much!:D

Ebb,
Yes. This is pure speculation on my part, but I believe that the closer you can be to the next trading day so as to compare patterns, the better predictability-performance could be achieved by the tracker. If one day notice is necessary, and better, stay put!!

Its as routine as my cup of coffee, to get up in the morning to see what the ebbnflow next move will be. Its nice to see it before I go to work, so I can make any moves without worrying about the 12est deadline. Thank you ebbnflow.

ebb, much congrats to you!! Not only for your system (which is great), but for sharing it so freely and continuously.
