Dell, it's hammertime! We can still go down from here, but the ebbchart is not about catching the bottom, never was. The Nikkei is lagging so much I feel they're just about to burst at the seams. Don't let me be carried now. Good luck all! :)

Ebb,

I once again am grateful to you for your seeing fit to share your model/predictions with us so freely! It is very kind on your part.

I wonder if you might consider showing more than the current days move, the way you used to. I understand that you would like to write something about each day, and I think you should continue to do that. The reason I ask about showing the predictions further out, is that when I'm on TDY, I don't always have access to the internet each morning before the noon deadline. I can call my TSP changes in, but I'm not able to find out what the model advises for a change without the internet access. It would be a great benefit to once again see from 2 to 4 days ahead in order to follow your moves. Think about it, if you will.

Thanks again!!

Lobo

Mr Ebbnflow

I'm glad I don't have a slew of people following my moves

Truth is I wouldn't want the extra stress, especially on days like these. Your either part of the problem or part of the solution. I always admire those like you who step up and work for the better things in life.

Cheers...:)

This setup precludes the need for future revisions to the ebbchart system's IFTs due to incoming data (even though it doesn't happen too often). But who knows I may go back to doing four days in advance. :)

Ebb, do your patterns go back to 1998?

Vectorman, my data gathering doesn't go back that far. But if it's any consolation, the ebbchart only exposes us to equities 56% of the time. So any kind of big correction in a bear market would most certainly be pared off right away.

Thanks, JTH. I sure hope I've been part of the solution. Folks on this board with a great deal of knowledge and market savvy (I'm sure) had a lot to do with many of us beating the I-fund this year.

I found an interesting link for anyone interested in developing a trading system:

But first you have to know if you have an aptitude for it. You have to see if you're good at pattern recognition. How about some spatial modeling and analysis in the future? Anyways, this flash game (actually a puzzle) can test for those inherent abilities or lack thereof.

Let me know how you did -- what level you finished with and how long it took you to finish a level. It's a fun or frustrating puzzle depending on how you look at it.

Note: You can skip to any level, make the game bigger or download it to your computer to play offline.

EBBY, this week will be huge for the I FUND. Many OSMs will bounce back hard. NIKKEI down almost 17% since Mid-July. I see Nikkeii back over 18000 before the years end. In the chain reaction car accident, the OSMs were hit the worst. However; the true problems are in the USMs. We sneeze, they caught the cold theory. I see a megarun back over double digits for the I FUND. Now is not the time to sideline or you might miss some serious gains in the I Fund. GL...btw..keep up the great job. Ebby's program did miss some bad days.hats off to you by dear friend.

Great start, 12%! We already stand at +26 cents and the HSI and STI aren't even open yet! Like I said before to Buda, the FV correction alone will be taken cared of by the Asian markets.

Keep giving us the good insight and great calls 12%.

Gee, thanks for making me use up my precious time! :)

I stopped on level 9, with 471 points. It took me 17:53 to finish level 8. I'm supposed to be working on my website instead of getting addicted to another mind boggler. I think after level six or so, it stopped giving me bonuses, so my score stayed the same.

Fabijo, sorry about the ruse I used in order to get unsuspecting folks like you to play it. It's just that every time I get suckered into spending time with a game/puzzle, I feel duty bound to pass it on. You did great...unlike some people I know.

It's a good puzzle though, especially when you want to kill some time. :)

Looking at the Member's Accounts thread, I see lots of folks driven out of the I-fund because of the red market before 12:00 noon. Hard to trade when it's dictated by emotion. I don't know how it will turn out by tomorrow, but the Asian markets as of now are doing cartwheels.
