I'm lovin the "I" Fund and that is rare. I've never purchased it in the past, but hey...as long as you walk away with coin, who cares which fund it comes from. For FY 15, I am going to keep my options open and that includes the I and F funds.
I'm getting my feet wet...only bought 50% of "I" fund on Monday. But I had to get some!!! If I had been paying closer attention, I would have bought in when the "weekly" EFA showed the Slow Stochastic crossing its signal line upward back on the 16- 19th. Today, I noticed Raven's daily info said the I fund is up 5.23% during the past 15 days. Sure nuff...the run up started around the 8th with the "daily" chart showing the Slow Stochastic crossover. Dang missed lots of that, but it's looking better than any other fund at the moment. Still looks like there is more room for growth but the BBs are widespread so expect some volatility.
Here are the weekly and daily charts for I fund.

If you change the time frame on both charts to 2-years and hit redraw, the long term trend shows that "I" fund has been in a downtrend since last Summer. So mine is a short term play. It's on an up-leg right now. Watching it carefully now, maybe out by week's end ...but it all depends on daily Slow Sto and more importantly the MACD on the daily chart. On the weekly, I am looking at Slow Stochastic for direction. It could go up longer. Best wishes to all !!
