DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

I'm lovin the "I" Fund and that is rare. I've never purchased it in the past, but hey...as long as you walk away with coin, who cares which fund it comes from. For FY 15, I am going to keep my options open and that includes the I and F funds.

I'm getting my feet wet...only bought 50% of "I" fund on Monday. But I had to get some!!! If I had been paying closer attention, I would have bought in when the "weekly" EFA showed the Slow Stochastic crossing its signal line upward back on the 16- 19th. Today, I noticed Raven's daily info said the I fund is up 5.23% during the past 15 days. Sure nuff...the run up started around the 8th with the "daily" chart showing the Slow Stochastic crossover. Dang missed lots of that, but it's looking better than any other fund at the moment. Still looks like there is more room for growth but the BBs are widespread so expect some volatility.

Here are the weekly and daily charts for I fund.

If you change the time frame on both charts to 2-years and hit redraw, the long term trend shows that "I" fund has been in a downtrend since last Summer. So mine is a short term play. It's on an up-leg right now. Watching it carefully now, maybe out by week's end ...but it all depends on daily Slow Sto and more importantly the MACD on the daily chart. On the weekly, I am looking at Slow Stochastic for direction. It could go up longer. Best wishes to all !! :). DBAnnie

I am exiting F fund today. Looks topped out. On weekly it is closing on crossing down on Slow Sto. On daily chart, it is up right now.

Staying in I fund for now. Weekly chart still indicates upward on Slow Sto, and so it still looks good. Will monitor closely next week.

Not in S or C, but both are below signal line on the weekly chart Slow Stochastic. So staying out for now. Best wishes to all!

Here are the TSPTalk Silver coins I received a couple weeks ago. Just beautiful!!! They have a mirror finish you cannot see in these pics!!!

you have red carpet?
Lol!!! No, but I would like a dark burgundy! It's a soft polishing cloth I use for computer screen, glasses, and such. I polished em up and then decided it might make a nice backdrop while protecting from a scratch. Lol...red carpet. Yes, don't tell anyone...I have it around for a "special" royal occasion.

The background on the coins are a true mirror finish, and lettering and rim is dazzling!! You cannot see the sparkles from these pics. They are stunning!

Thank god you polish them with a cloth and not licking them clean. What do you plan on doing with those coins? Are they an investment, or just a pretty trinket to own? Just curious. I own a lot of silver and mine is for investment purposes.

Perfect timing on the F-Fund exit!

i just do not understand the cumpulsion to keep things always shiny and clean. some things are meant to be scratched and dirty. i am going to address this issue in another thread. no offense, to each their own.

Hi KK, just for investment and to enjoy looking at them. I was thinking to display them by arranging in a shadow box with a nice fabric backing so they do not rub and get scratched. Then just hang it in my bedroom by my desk. Of course I must keep one loose to be touched and played with and so that one can get scratched up. The one I took pics of is on my nightstand...think I will keep it there. Maybe I will learn how to twirl it between my fingers like the Pokerstars!! :D

DBA, here's a double whammy for you!

That was awesome Whipsaw!! Thank you the post. You know I love heart and Stairway to Heaven was done very well. must of been awesome for them to play that in their presence and in tribute to Led Zeppelin. Thanks again!! Enjoyed hearing that this morning.

Well.... On to financials. I noticed I am using 3,4,10 EMA s on all charts...not 2.3,10.
It all is looking good...all equities...but we will see what today brings. Waiting for first indication of price falling below the 3,4 day EMA channel. Staying in for now... But it's an early day. Even if it drops intraday before deadline, I will not exit. Not today!! Wishing for more gains but it's gotta go down sometime. Still have been in long enough to not be scared out of it yet. Best wishes to everyone!!

Just to clarify, on my last post of charts-#774. I use slow stochastic only on the weekly charts. On daily charts I use MACD...not Slow Stochastic. Will fix that the next time I Post charts. But keep in mind these charts update each time they are accessed so it might be awhile before I post them again.

As of yesterday, equities still look good but I fund Is aging in its uptrend... They all are but I fund more so, yet I may consider buying in a bit and reduce exposure on Sand C. f fund is just crossing into positive territory so like thought of moving some there today. Maybe looking at 10-15% to I, 40% F, and very little in S and none in C. Will think more on it...see how markets opens.

Yes I know ...equities still look good but getting nervous... tHere should be a pullback soon.

Pulling out some today. Decided I want to pocket some gains. Moving into F and G and keeping very little in S and C. I feel better now!
My read of the ndicators say I should stay in until I see price come out of that 3/4 day EMA channel, but I am letting emotions get in the way. In either case, its done now. So I am only risking 20% in equities. Oh well.... we will see.

Going to wait until tomorrow to see how I want to set up for March. I'm 100% "I" right now and it is due a nice run but "S" has been outperforming all funds so I might move back there for a short time.

Wishing you the best NASA!! The "I" fund scares me. Been in it once this year and pulled out on a down day but still had a positive return for that trade. I should have stayed in longer. i got out of I fund a couple weeks back. And when I moved, I primarily put it in C fund versus S (60/40)---wish I had done that in reverse. But ohh... welll ..... water under the bridge now.
I'm good for now. I pulled out today but left just a bit in S/C. I decided to IFT today because I also had it in the back of my head that jth or MJR said something about Wed/Thurs being most positive days for exit as of late, and I do believe that is true.... but hopefully it will be good if you exit tomorrow. Equities could definitely continue upward. I left in only 20% total.

Best wishes on all your investments... and to everyone else as well! :D

DBA, What makes the "I" fund scary is the FV at the end of the day. It can hurt you or help you and you never really know which way it is going to go. Of course then you have to look at the dollar vs. Euro. If the dollar weakens a little more to where it is even with or a tad below the Euro the "I" fund can have a great run and out perform the "C" & "S". I think if Europe can get it's act together by summer the "I" fund will be a nice place to be.

Hi NASA, I must agree! With their QE starting up I should think it will do good this year. Will see if there is a pull back anytime soon to buy in. For now, I am glad to reduce my exposure. I am now at F-50%, G-30%, S-15%, and C-5%. So not much skin in the game unless F fund decides to tank.

I've never really liked the F fund much but I know the G fund means -0-. Seems like this year the F fund has been running inverse to equities as it should; unlike what it did most of last year. Well....except today as it went down a bit with equities but that actually got me a better buy in. F fund was looking good yesterday as MACD was just starting to cross positive touching the signal line in upward mode.

Will see what happens. Today price dropped just a bit but not a lot. Would have been nice if it had rallied today. But I am good and still came out way ahead with this trade to make up for the rough start in January. I'm satisfied!! Will see what the future holds.

Of course, I will now be going into the mode of: Which Way Will It Go?? Which Way Will it Go? So here we go again.....LOL
