WEEKLY charts.
These have "weekly" EMA 10, 20, 50 plus BBs, MACD, and The Stochastics (slow and fast). I really like the Slow Stochastic just on weekly charts as good indicator on what may happen in the coming week for just the S and C funds.

I keep these links on separate bookmarks so I can get to the latest information quickly. If one pulls each one up, bookmarks it, one can then just click that link to pull up each chart showing the most current data, each day. These links to Bigcharts.com update automatically so you always have the latest info without having to create them anew each day.

I also use these links to checkout the intraday market results. I reset timeframes (left of the linked screen on DAILY charts) and set to a two-day with 5 minute, or 15 minute or hourly increments. You can reset timeframes to what you want, going back a year p, several years, a decade, etc.

I will try to repost these charts/links more frequently. Once you bookmark each link, you have the same information that automatically updates when you open it. If you have a question about these charts, you can PM me. These are just nice to access if working remotely and cannot access your permanent links. Nothing here should be considered as financial or market advice.. Strictly all informational.

The Atlanta Fed Reserve chair just announced a few minutes ago that interest rates may be increased at mid-year based on how Economic recovery goes. ( Per Varney & company). Will see how that affects market today. Dow was at 50 down a few minutes ago and dropped another 5. So action today looks like it will be Fed driven ...again!! Ugh...

I guess the thought being that rates would not go up until later in year or next year??? Will see....
Oil is also down.

Interesting article on Swelling Stocks/Yields Ratio - Safehaven.com

http://www.safehaven.com/article/36361/conclusion-from-swelling-stocksyields-ratio

This article seems to indicate a drop will occur; or at least that is what I conclude from reading that article. The prior article posted takes position a big move is coming while this one indicates a drop is coming.

I tend to think we will have further drops short-term because MACD is now in negative territory and sloped downward. How deep remains to be seen. However, I think it eventually will take a bigger hit because it seems we are building a house of cards. Economy not that good. Wages low. Just a few months ago, the Washington ostensibly reported that the number of Small business failures overtook the number of small business starts for the first time in 30y ears. Drop in bond yields indicates economy is in deflation mode, and we know that the QE has attempted to artificially keep this from happening for the last few years; not to mention the massive debt accumulating.

Sales were weak last month, not meeting expectations. Last year the same thing occurred but the weather was blamed. Gosh...can I make this any bleaker??? Lol... :worried: The only good news seems to be that oil has found a bottom???? But aside from all this I am trying to stay positive and find an exit. :)

I'm keeping my sticky pants on!! Dang, I hope we don't crash and burn. This market is driving me insane!!!! Price hit lower BB and is shaped like a ball ...consolidating obviously but in which direction?? We are used to it consolidating upward but what if it doesn't do that this time?? Dang!!! Then the meetings next week in Europe..

Hero -Mariah Carey. (Just Beautiful...live version -Tribute to Heroes)

(Verse 1)
There's a hero if you look inside your heart,
You don't have to be afraid of what you are.
And There's an answer, if you reach into your soul,
And the sorrow that you know will melt away.

(Chorus)
And then a hero comes along,
With the strength to carry on.
And you cast your fears aside,
And you know you can survive.
So, when you feel like hope is gone,
Just Look inside you and be strong.
And you'll finally see the truth,
That a hero lies in you...

(Verse 2)
It's a long road, when you face the world alone;
No one reaches out a hand for you to hold...
You can find love if you search within yourself
And then the emptiness you felt will disappear...

(Chorus)
And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And then you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive.
So, when you feel like hope is gone
Look inside you and be strong
And then you'll finally see the truth
See That a hero lies in you.

(Bridge)
Lord knows dreams are hard to follow,
But don't let anyone tear them away.
Just hold on, and there will be tomorrow,
And In time you'll find the way.

(Chorus)
And then a hero comes along,
With the strength to carry on.
And then you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive.
So, when you feel like hope is gone,
Look inside you and be strong.
And you'll finally see the truth,
That a hero lies in you.
That a hero lies in you...

Gosh ..this article seems to say our highs are a few weeks away! Humm... market is so confusing now. I think I am still getting out at least partially... too much on the table now. 38 minutes left to decide.

Feel like that big slow hounddog on the old Bugs Bunny cartoons... looking confused and saying "Which way did he go? Which way did he go?" --uggh. But gotta laugh about it! :) Surely the market will go in the opposite direction. Maybe you should consider me a good indicator of what not to do! :D

I'm more like where Bugs points at the train tracks going into the tunnel and tells the dog 'Train tracks! You should go catch a train!' and into the tunnel he runs! I hope to end up like the dog, hanging on to the locomotive yelling "I done a good thing! I caught a train!" :D

Wooooooo Hoooooo!!! :)

Likely moving some into I fund today.

Here are NEW WEEKLY charts with different EMA settings. I am really liking the weekly charts with a 3, 4, and 10 week EMA as this meshes better with overall trading strategy. Strongly prefer EMA instead of SMA...as tracks closer to quicker market direction. Consider Slow Stochastic as a dominant factor along with 3, 4 EMA crossovers.

Note: the EMA is critical because I noticed if one uses the SMA, it whipsaws more than the EMA. Noticed that especially in Spring 2014. I would rather not be thinking it was okay to re-enter on an up week with SMA when EMA clearly shows the downs and volatility not yet ended. The EMA clearly shows the 4 week is below the 3 week throughout Spring when prices were falling, and did not cross back over to positive (3 week crossing back above 4 week EMA) until mid-May. But the Slow Stochastic on weekly chart was a very good early indicator.
