DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

If the seasonality chart is on track and the dip at the end of Sep as shown. Somehow the bulls manage to pull it out again…The implied volatility is not showing fear in the market. Now that quarterly option expiration & window dressing are over. With 5% off from the high and still have 2 IFTs, I’ve decided to enter with 70% C & 30% S.

I recall an interview of a bartender near walstreet who mentioned business was always good when the market was good; but, his business was great when the market was crashing. LOL

Hi, I was out this morning and now looking at charts. So there was a scare this morning that now has recovered very nicely!
Will definitely be looking more closely for entry. But, NAAIM exposure (smart money) is down from last week at 55.02

We need a weekly NAWSB number - National Association of Wall Street Bartenders ;)

Here are charts as of a few mins ago. Friday's price action looked promising, but as I said on Thursday, a price drop below mid-term blue line going back to February would be a problem... And that what just happened in the S fund. Intraday, this morning it fell through the 200 dMA, but now has recovered and holding just above it. Slow Sto has not yet dropped below 20. The 20 SMA (mid point on Bollinger...dashed pink line) dropped below 50 EMA on Friday. Will sit on Lilly pad a little longer to see....

oh gosh...this market is just so volatile right now. I've been in same spot many times and it sucks! But..Tomorrow it could jump up. There's lots of financial news coming out this week on services and later on jobs that could make it turn around. On the bright side, lots of the AT big boys jumped in and your one of them!

But charts do show market is in a downturn, just don't know for how long.....:worried: And I really don't think anyone ever really knows. I do like to listen to D7 at Grok Trade...he puts out short informative video every weekend.

Just KEEP your chin up! Remember your up BIG this year and many wish they were in your shoes including me! :D:D:D.
Best wishes to you and Everyone*!!!

I should have listened to practically everybody

It will work out. When it starts to feel like death by a thousand cuts I’ll be more worried.

rangerray - I feel the same. looking for an exit myself. hoping not to loose too much from this last trade. But, DB is right... at least up for the year. and there will always be another entry/exit point. just need to have patience in between. and lots of depends. ha ha ha

I'm not looking for an exit as much as I'm looking for this market to rebound, although they would both coincide. I REALLY liked the long-term channel that we were moving in for most of the year! It still looks like a bull market to me at this point, so I'm hanging tough. Another move for me now would mean missed opportunities later in the month because I only have one IFT left.

DBA, I never realized they used a pedal steel guitar on this tune. That takes me back to the first time I learned that David Gilmour of Pink Floyd played a pedal steel on several albums. Up until then, I just thought it was clever work on the six-string.

Yes, I used to think the same thing....clever work on a six string guitar. I like seeing it played...Sound is great!! I saw Pink Floyd twice but do not recall him playing it. Probably bad memory...

Some of them are soooo purdy! Ken Greer is playing a double but have seen some triples on line. But I've never seen a triple played. Lol...getting off topic but Jackson makes some with beautiful wood with mother of pearl inlay designs!
