DreamboatAnnie's Account Talk

I am not exiting at this point. I entered last week and while some exit indicators have hit for me, I got in when it was already below my exit indicators.

So, I will wait to see what happens tomorrow. Tempted to buy some today, but will wait for direction. Have not had chance to listen to news to find out why its dropping, but I should think it has something to do with continued fear about inflation, taxes or some new read from those Fed minutes coming out or that already came out today, plus Yellin.

Do not like charts direction but so far support trend lines are holding. Best wishes to everyone*!!! G
hoping you have a beautiful day! :D:D:D

After a morning of panic and reflecting on my life decisions I decided to stand pat as well.. Adding more isn't in the plans however..

I added more so probably shot myself in the foot. But hopefully it works out. I wish everyone the best though in their accounts.

Charts as of few mins ago. Staying as is.

Would like to see RSI 14 get above 50 and for price to get above Friday's high (to make a higher high before I commit dollars to S fund).

Lol... whatcha know! We made a higher high in S fund! Things is volume not that great on VXF....hummm... In any case, I look to invest more tomorrow unless the sky falls tomorrow morning! :D. Might move some out of C fund and deploy in a better place...C just seems a little slow and has not yet made higher high. Will see. Gotta chew on it for awhile...lol!
Best wishes to all !

VERY Interesting article: Fed alert on overnight Repo usage soaring ..
Now that's scary....ugghhhh. :worried:

https://www.zerohedge.com/markets/fed-alert-overnight-reverse-repo-usage-soars-above-covid-crisis-highs?utm_campaign=&utm_content=Zerohedge%3A+The+Durden+Dispatch&utm_medium=email&utm_source=zh_newsletter

Per ZeroHedge:
"We concluded with the following bottom line: "keep a close eye on the daily reverse repo facility usage: at the rate it is rising it may soon surpass its all time high of $475BN reached at the end of 2015. At that moment the Fed will have no choice but to start the long overdue "tapering talk."

And just in case there was confusion, we elaborated that "it also means that every tick higher in RRP usage means we are that much closer to the next, and far more violent, taper tantrum."

Hope that last article on Fed did not spook too many people, I tend to think some of that will not affect market until later in June...I do believe there may be continuing volatility, but today's increases are setting up well. Of course, I can't be certain and no one can, but I am hopeful that this coming week will be good. Not sure of upcoming Holiday effect. Will need to look into that, for now plan is to stay in until there is a significant change in technical indicators. Will see. Wishing you a great weekend! :D:D:D

THX DBA for your last few posts - your charts & thoughts! I tend to agree w/you & seems reasonably likely. I waded in more a few days ago (up to my waste-deep spread evenly CSI, reduced my F position - that's cautiously yet fairly optimistic for me). Was going to add more with 2nd IFT but missed the deadline by 5-min this morn. Hoping the best for you and a great weekend.

Thanks DB. yes and excellent article. i've often watched the seasonality of our funds and the market. One of the things I look at in the Daily Market Summary posted by Tom Crowley is the final seasonality chart. i even started saving them to refer to the general trend throughout the year. The site he gets them from is https://www.sentimentrader.com/ . good resource for all kinds of seasonal info - best five days to invest, markets around certain major holidays, or other events as well as month to month or yearly seasonality.

Now that's a quick turnaround. Going down! Not sure if this is impact, but UK proposing tariffs on USA goods. :(
Here is closeup.

Really don't like that 20MA gone below 50 MA a few days ago. Looks like C fund is in better position but still slow rising since they crossed above 20 on Slow Stochastics...just looks weak. C starting to cross positive on MACD....at a snail's pace.
At this rate, not sure of staying in until Friday. Nvidia reports after bell today.

For all my TSP friends, acquaintances, and fellow investors; I would like to thank you all for you posts and wish you all a safe and happy holiday weekend. Remember what this holiday is all about. But also, remember it is one of the two most dangerous holiday weekends of the year. Please be safe. Thank you for all those who have sacrificed for us to be here today.

Hope you all had moments to reflect on all the persons who have given their lives in service to our country and for us. I spent a little time this afternoon going through some very old photos, showing them to my son, and remembering my great uncle Ray, who was my grandfather's only brother. He was killed in action while fighting to liberate Europe from the Nazis. He is buried at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

I have pictures of him and the back of one, showing him in uniform, says he was in Company I, 359th Infantry, 90th Division and that he died somewhere in France on September 27, 1944. Just reflecting on his sacrifice and that of so many others brings tears to my eyes. They truly made the ultimate sacrifice. Uncle Ray never married or had children. I wish I could have met him. God Bless You and Thank You Uncle.

Wreath laying ceremony....at Ft. Sam National Cemetery today. Click on link at this site to see short ceremony concluding with Taps.

Charts! Feel like its getting close to exit, but going to wait a bit longer. Not enough of my exit parameters have hit, but I guess I just don't feel at ease with this slow melt up. I really want to exit today, but holding...Best wishes to you all!

Same thoughts as you today, but since I'm diversified I'm holding fast too. I hate to use an IFT on the first day of the month.
