Dr Faustus's Account Talk

Hey Dan, Maybe you are right......I gave about half of mine back. I cut back on the I fund since the dollar is starting to recover. Then I increased my S fund since that one is up even when the C fund is down. I'm 40 C, 40 S, and 20 I. Lost a little again yesterday! A few more days like that and I'm out for a while. But i'm still higher than the G holders!!!

Here is hoping good luck for all of us.:)

I've learned a few knots over the years I'll tie one for you, just hold on! There are better days ahead but there will be some pain.

Going 10%F, 30%C, 30%S, 30%I cob today (Sep 23)

Have a new strategy. I've been waiting for the weekly returns to show a loss so I could get in but the markets just refuse to cooperate. So I'm jumping in. Probably the wrong decision but what the heck - it's only money, right? I can live off of Doritos and Beer, right? :D

Switching to 40%C 40%S 20%I cob tomorrow (10/13)

Found out I had an error in my spreadsheet which affected my decision to go into the F fund. Arrrrrrgh.... Expensive mistake.

Am back 100% in G .. went there on cob Tues 12/22. Looks like I'm gonna close out the year somewhere in the -7.5% yield range this year. Been ironing out the kinks in a new strategy to deal with our limited IFTs. Congrats to all who did well this year!

Good to hear from Ya Dr Faustus, looks like you're makin' money that's always good!! Stick around we need your input,
Norman

Full Withdrawal ...

I took a full withdrawal from my TSP account today due to life issues, etc. However, I will continue to develop and refine my TSP investment system so that one day I can sell it back to you all for huge wads of cash. :) So far, the system is doing pretty well this year, up well over 10%.

So it's farewell, but not goodbye ... I'll still be around, continuing to tweak my system and I will be posting the results.

Dan

Dr Faustus, sometimes you just have to cash it in, it's been a pleasure and you have added much to the MB over the years and we appreciate it!! Please do come back and let us know how the system is working or just to talk.
Best of luck:D
Norman
