This isthe G fund boys chance to get in. I know you want to! Don't you want to get the little woman somethin extra for X-mas. Maybe that is why chicken is cheap cause there is so many of them. Come on in the water is fine! Besides tomorrow will dawn a new day. How can a Cowboy make money if no one eats beef or wants to play the game! Poor cowboy is alone and cold, maybe have to find a Senorita to raise his spirits.:D

Sounds like the gate is open in the I fund pasture!! I got burned on this play some last time, several weeks ago but maybe this time the holders are somewhat nervous and moving to the overbought US stocks. I am thinkingC & Sfunds are a lot closer toa peak and need to drop some to generate speed to make the hill. The I fund hit it's peak 5 weeks ago but still has more wiggle room but may also go down. There could be some consolidating in all of the funds which will be only good if it happens. Meanwhile the G boys set stewing in the pot wondering when a break will come as they continue to lose buying power. This may cause them to pull their trigger on their six shooter. C buyers just set tight and continue to buy as it lags, maybe next year it will do something exciting for you. Mean while all u can do is :).

I made this comment on 11/9/05 and I want to get this across that it appears that the markets are going to ride the same tracks but I also know that Santa is coming so I am just going to spread out and then start playing and try to short this thing to my advantage. I have really come to the conclussion that u can not win when you are frozenand G guys missed a very good rally, rather then watch the money disappear I will start moving either in or out and let the market hopefully work to my advantage. Good luck everyone!!

"Hey redneck what category do you want" "I'll take stocks for $1000.00 Alex" LOL!!! The dollar is down I fund may pay off good today or tomorrow hopefully! All the G players are quite and hoping to get in but the market is not giving anything up! Every dayseems to go by and more of the seasonal players get on the band wagon driving the market up. Mythought of the day. "You can not be in a school of fish, if your not swimming!"

Unfortunately, the I-fund will be down 0.5% when the share prices come out tonight. :(

So what makes u so sure the I fund will be down the .5%. MSCI equity shows it down .276% but with the dollar movement and the big boys minipulating the fund how do you come up with a -.5%. I am curious, because I have found nothing that is tracking the I fund correctly yet.

The I-Fundwas UP0.65%today.
This is at least 0.9% too high; FRTIB is fudging the I-fundshare price like they did on Friday andyesterday by 0.5%
They wouldn't let us keep it. They'll take it back tomorrow or Friday.

It tracks the MSCI excepts for the days they frudge it.

Now Greg the answer to your problem is that the market was even at the start of this week. The value of the dollar offset the loss of the I fund which drove the price up. The manipulators can only do so much to manipulate the fund. They may not want day trading but if the market is going up they have to give what the market is doing otherwise offset with their own money which they ain't a goin to do. The manipulators it is my thought in order to do this only have two options to do and that is give or take. Now it is from my observation in order to play this game they have to mirror the US funds very closely plus account for dollar valueotherwise their will be slapping of some hands somewhere if their in the wrong pocket. I wouldn't count on the I fund being down either today because the dollar may go up but if the funds do well the loss will be about the same as the US markets or it will actually pay again and the manipulators will account for the dollar and adjust appropiately.

There is nothing to say about this market right now but this one word. It is HOT!!! My theory is this there is just too many seasonal players that got caught with there pants down waiting for a drop and these companies are all going to prop this up through the end of the year.

Gas has dropped .80 a gallon, only area looking cold is the NE part of the US and Santa pops on Friday when the little honey and the kidsgets the check book for a day! Katrina is going to provide jobs for those that want to work and all have to do is the math!

I'm neither bull nor bear, but the trend is up. The European markets and the Asian market have all had record highs recently; the S&P, small caps, DJTA and NASDAQhave broken through to new highs for the year; the Dow is the only one that as yet to break through. So taking in the big picture, what are the odds that the Dow will break through the 11,000 level real soon. And if the Dow is on a mission to break through the 11,000 barrier, the S&P and small caps will still tag along. If your long, like birchtree, you just enjoy the show. If your a short trader, there is that chance you'll miss out on some more profitsby trying to anticipate the coming correction. If you had already jumped out last week, you're probably second guessing yourself about leaving too soon. I was in that camp, but I came back in just this week for alittle Thanksgiving treat. This really has to be a true wall of worry for some right now. This moment can really showhow much perceive risk one is willing to tolerate. Onward and upward to new territory, hope you all have a greatThanksgiving, especially our military members. Keep our goverment leaders in your prayers forwisdom, so we can get our troops home real soon. Cowboy you sure picked you a nice bull to ride, go for the full 8 seconds. :^

Thanks Vectorman! I do have to say one thing! I think if the DOW is going to break a barrier it better hope that S&P and the small caps take it there. have a very Happy thanksgiving!!!:)

When the share prices come out tonight, the I-fund will not be +up/-down more than one penny from where it was last night.

I really dislike the TSP police, why don't they just let things play out like it use to.:X

They better give us at least 2 cents worth.

Greg:

How did you figure that one out?. You were right on the money. I was expecting at least five. How does TSP come up with that figure?

Thanks

Good morning everyone! Blizzard in the Dakota's so expect oil to move up as more goes into use. I would like to know what Greg is using also to follow the I fund and if it is useful prior to the daily deadline. I expect the market to go bearish the first two weeks of December but how deep is anyones guess, and then get strong as it usually does to the end of the month. Tomorrow I may change my mind as the market is the only one that knows the next move. :^
