SS buy signal almost certain.

By extrapolation 6 of 7 are definitely on buy side based on current numbers, and I think it's a better than 90% probability that the 7th, BPCOMPQ has crossed over, too.

Coolhand, the Seven Sentinels is yet another thing for which I owe you great thanks!

When I was doing my due diligence on the backtesting, it was interesting to me that these are not 'day trade' type signals. They seem to be good signals for the intermediate term.

You are correct. This is a fairly conservative signal. I wish I'd been relying on it more than I have the past few months.

Coolhand, I can get the first two SS signals in real time. I get the other five a day behind no matter what platform I use to pull up the charts. Is that as timely as they get?

(I'm trying to ensure that the signal really has been given. If I do an IFT it's going to have to be tonight because I have medical appointments tomorrow morning. )

As XL-entlady noted, this system gives Intermediate Term signals and is not intended for day to day trading. (Thanks for the backtesting lady )

Considering the voracity of this bear market and our very limited account flexibility I am prepared to hold tight regardless of volatility until the SS gives a sell signal.

For now, I am expecting this transfer to last as long as 2 months, but that's just a guess as the market will ultimately decide how long and how far a move higher will last.

Went 50/50 CS effective at today's close.

No I fund. I'm not convinced the dollar will swoon in a major way and everyone else has bigger economic problems than we have. To me, the I fund presents a little more risk.

I won't post this too often, but here's some thoughts from another source:

"Last time, I said that we were in a much more manipulated market and that we could occasionally see "da boyz" positioning. Case in point was that ISEE jump to multi-year high levels. That was clearly a tell and I called a rally. The only question I had was would we fill the gap up, or gap and go. Gap and go it was. Today looks higher too. This thing can just run and run. I know a lot of folks think we should pullback hard and we may, but bigger picture the MACD cross implies weeks of rally, not days. Now, we're going to run into trouble when we get the daily MACD Buy (it's a fade), but that will take a bit. The 200-day EMA is a reasonable target for this rally. The 95% up volume on the Naz suggests that we've got real buying."

Lady is among the smartest and most insightful ladies I've known; and all the more makes me realize you're probably even smarter than you come across (and you come across as very smart)

My bottom line is 'F*** with me and you will get F***ed' and that's why I'm doing everything possible to humiliate and defeat this BEAR.

I'm NOW CONVINCED you are RIGHT - and we should be doing everything possible to bring the other Members above the water and hopefully over me. The more this happens the more I see the BEAR getting his @ss kicked.
